La Perla de Caminito — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Do not go to this restaurant unless you want to be stoles. I went with my boyfriend and the food was VERY expensive from what we ate. The size of the plates are regular and the attention received from out waitress was terrible. We ordered one milanesa and some potatoes to share and some beers... it took ages to get this ready at our table and the restaurant only had 5 tables occupied. Even some people that were in another table near our... the food took so long to arrive and the water that they ordered took at least 10mins. Cool looking place but when you walk in and see a live cat sitting on a table, you can't stop wondering if ithe same cat was sitting on your plate before you are sitted. We got parilla for 2 peeps, they served reheated grilled meat from yesterday, one sausage was still totally cold inside. Pork ribs were chewy and hard, all meat was hard and tastless, we haven't even tried 4 pieces, they didn't look appealing. After chewing on ribs and trying cold sausage, we lost our appetite. Quite a bad experience I must say: we got the drinks but waited forever for the food, which was 3 salads and one empanada! The drinks got warm and when the salads arrived the vegetables were barely cut and had to be further cut by us. The empanada was not even warm! When we asked for a dressing (balsamic and olive oil), the waiter was not sure they had them. We finally got lemon and olive oil.
