MOLE TACOS "AUTENTICA COMIDA MEXICANA — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

They try... they really do. Mole was awful. Too much almond for my taste. Do not recommend it if you have had Mexican before or, even if you have not. The size of the portion was adecuate. Mole came with refried beans. They were very well executed except for the mozzarella on top🙈 and orange rice that was left out a couple of fridge hours too many. Tortillas and totopos with sauces were exceptionally good as they are for nixtamalized corn. GREAT FIND! Jamaica was delicious. That alone was worth the seating.

Colors and piñatas need some real upgrade. Given the country's economical situation, they try...they really do.

Client service was really non existent. I would have given them a 4 star if staff would have been nicer. An elderly couple (the only other party on site) were curious about the menu and the coffee. Man, they did not accomodate to their needs and...

La atención muy bien. El lugar estaba ambientado muy al estilo mexicano y estaba super calentito (hoy hacia frío afuera). Eramos 2 y pedimos:

-Plato MOLE para compartir: (cerca de $2100)

DE entrada traían nachos(muy ricos) con: •Cheddar: Abundante y con excelente textura. De sabor tanto no me gusto. •Guacamole: exquisito con bastante cilantro (no se sentía taaanto gusto a Palta, sino una mezcla muy rica de todos los sabores) •Salsa roja: Rica y fresca (ideal para agregarle a los tacos o burritos picantes después) -Salsa verde: Rica y picante, empezá a comer de a poco para ver si te gusta, no te mandes un nacho llenisimo porque sino estás acostumbrado te va a picar jaja. Para mi tambien tenía cilantro pero no estoy segura. -Frijoles refritos con queso: A mi me gusto pero hasta ahí, mi hijo quedó enamorado jaja.

Como "Principal" una bandeja con: •Un taco de carne •Un burrito de carne (Ambos exquisitos pero PICANTES, yo para equilibrar un poco les puse guacamole o Salsa roja -refrescante, no picante-) •Un taco de pollo •Un burrito de pollo (No eran picantes y después del de carne fue un alivio pero no eran tan ricos, a estos les podes sumar la salsa que te guste incluso la verde, picante) •Una quesadilla (sencilla pero rica) •Un taco dorado de pollo (era frito, la verdad que no lo hubiese pedido de manera individual pero me sorprendió, exquisito)

Aparte: -Jarra de agua de jamaica (alrededor de $480): Tenía un gusto muy particular, con cierto parecido a la ciruela (?, yo personalmente no lo volvería a pedir pero no estaba mal -Margarita(alrededor de $500): había opción salada o dulce, pedí salada y cuando llegó dije "Uy que chico el trago" pero estuve tomándolo hasta último momento, no escatimaban en absoluto con el tequila asique estaba bastante fuerte (en la mayoría de los lugares se siente muy suave el tequila). Me gustó mucho pero creo que la próxima pediría el dulce. -Copa helada tentación(alrededor de $480): La compartimos pero así y todo no la terminamos, era bastante grande. Mousse de chocolate (exquisito), centro de dulce de leche, obleas, nueces, chocolate blanco y negro con salsa de chocolate.

Coming from living in Texas sometimes you just want that Tex Mex taste and man oh man did this hit the spot. I had the sopas which the masa I wasn’t a fan of but the meat fillings were excellent. Especially the beef! The burritos were good and had a tamale with Spanish rice. The tamale was a bit fluffy but man the flavors were right on and so was the rice. Super good. Refried beans were excellent and hot sauce was really good not so hot as to blow out your palette but super full of really good spicy flavor. Was a real treat and we are instant fans!
