Hello tourist, yes you, the tourist that a taxi driver or a tour company brought to this filthy restaurant. Beware food poisoning. The meat here is horrible and a disgusting representation of Argentina. Do NOT eat at this "Parrilla". The meat was old and either over cooked and more than rare/not cooked well after being refrigerated. I could barely cut the overcooked meat with my knife and the undercooked food gave someone in my group food poisoning. A real Parrilla will bring you chimichurri when they bring your meat, the color of it should be green. When we asked, they brought us a red something that tasted of only vinegar. It is not chimichurri. We also wanted sandwiches at first and they said they were "out". How are you out of sandwiches when you serve us bread and meat? On top of the food being horrible, I'm more disappointed with how this is a tourist trap and promoted by taxi drivers and tourism companies. I know this because the drivers have their own section of the restaurant and they all know the staff and the other drivers. They get a kickback from taking their customers here. Two companies to avoid:
We went for lunch and needed to wait for 30 min for the service to come to us. She (a somwhat eldery woman) and another one passed by several times, sometimes smiling but never seemed to care to take our order. After ordering we waited another 10-15 min for her to bring us one bottle of cola to drink.
As for the food, my girlfriend had ravioli which were not well cooked and I ordered a rumpsteak but seemed to have gotten a ripeye steak which tasted not good and had more then enough fat and came more like shoe sole. Maybe a mistake? No, she ensured me about it beeing a rumpsteak.
But not even willing do give a discount about it was the bad quality was too much for me. She even had the audacity to write down the tipp on the final bill. Bold.
We saw several people leaving at the beginning for not beeing served and should've left with them. I could not recommend this place. Nor for the food nor for the service. Safe your time and go...
Read morePretty awful service and food. Our waitress had to be reminded several times to bring missing cutlery and drink orders. She also never brought us bread. We (group of 5) ordered a parrillada for 4 and some empanadas. The dough of the empanadas was noticeable old and brittle, and the filling was poorly seasoning and a bit rancid. The parrillada was also distasteful. The meat had little to no seasoning, was cooked inconsistently, and gave us the impression that it wasn’t of any good quality. The “complete parrillada” was also missing key items, namely chinchulines and mollejas. Overall incredibly disappointing. An overpriced...
