WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! MUST READ
We made the reservation through TripAdvisor. confirmed by the Owner Guillermo RAFFETTI. By his own flaw, we were not on the reservation list. We kindly waited. My pregnant wife trying to help, was dissed by the manager, unwilling to find a solution to our problem. This manager, a person who clearly hated her job, wanted us to leave, at all cost. Upsetting all the guests, making a scene. We never understood why, since we had a reservation as everyone else. After a bitter exchange, we were left no choice but to leave the restaurant. My wife had to see a doctor the following day because of the strong pain she felt consequence of such an ill treatment. Never in our life we had to endure such a bad moment. We travelled around the world and dined in several of the best restaurants in the world. We thought we had seen it all but this was definitely the WORST EVER. When the time came to criticize this awful experience, the Owner Guillermo Raffetti, a very unprofessional man, instigated both my wife and Myself to erase the comments on every network. Sent trolls (employees forced to discredit our reviews). Luckily we had taken screenshots of everything. Last but not least, all our comments were erased, censored. That is not acceptable. Moreover, he blocked us from his IG account, and lied to his community saying he Invited us to come back but we were too violent(?) and left. Does that make ANY sense? Bottom line: what can you expect from a Restaurant if the owner is a man that treats a pregnant woman like this, sends trolls to hate speech us, and lies to his community, making up his own story. Legal claims are being held as we speak with local authorities. Hopefully my wife and I are still recovering from what was our worst experience ever.
PS: I invite people to read the bad reviews this restaurant has. The owner always attacks the guests, instead of making things right. Totally...
Read moreThe food at La Tasca is simply outstanding—every dish bursts with flavour and demonstrates impeccable culinary skill.
However, despite the excellence of the cuisine, the overall dining experience was marred by operational inefficiencies. Upon arrival, we noticed the absence of a queue management system or a host to oversee seating arrangements. Those waiting for a table, including ourselves, were left in a state of uncertainty, with no clear understanding of our position in the queue or when we might be seated.
This lack of organisation led to noticeable frustration among patrons, as no updates or guidance were provided by the staff. It is apparent that implementing a proper queue management system or assigning a dedicated host to manage arrivals would significantly enhance the customer experience. This small but crucial adjustment could prevent confusion and ensure a smoother transition from arrival to seating.
While La Tasca offers a dining experience that is a triumph in terms of taste, it is clear that operational improvements are needed to match the high standard of its food. Addressing these challenges would undoubtedly elevate La Tasca to a level of excellence that extends...
Read moreNice location (7’ away from the center which means less crowded and more nature around), very good service (very attentive and with attention to detail) and the dishes arrived exactly as we ordered. Big portions of trucha and abadejo (fishes) perfectly cooked, and at the right temperature. Don’t miss out the wine menu! And, if you have the chance, ask for the flan with dulce de leche as for dessert... you’ll be surprised with...
