On a Friday evening I pre ordered and paid for a couple of desserts/teatime pastries for Mother's Day. When I arrived after finishing work on Saturday afternoon to collect them I was informed that they had accidentally been sold. I was pretty annoyed as it was near closing time and the pastries were for brunch the next morning. The manager happened to be in store and although he was initially apologetic and trying to work out how the error was made, he rapidly shifted to how he could make things right. He was immediately on the phone to another Bakers Delight store, he took down my address and within the hour had delivered my order and extra as an apology to my house.
