Bami Southgate — Restaurant in Adelaide

I have to agree with others, Bami Southgate has gone down hill.

Tonight ordered two combination Pho extra meat add pork. Cant have pork it’s only beef / chicken or combo. Given that the pork is sitting in the warmer next to the chicken my guess is as it’s not on the screen so the server wasn’t going above and beyond the screen. Accepted combo extra meat.

While waiting checked the receipt and realised although extra meat requested and was part of the conversation it wasn’t ordered. Went back to the counter and same server eventually approached and when I started to ask about my order and the extra meat started to walk away. I called out “at least wait for me to finish speaking before ignoring me” guy in back smiled.

Extra meat wasn’t added to orders and all I was told was $6.

Paid got meal, disappointed quality, very disappointed service. Sorry...

This used to be my favourite vietnamese takeaway shop..quality of food has deteriorated over the last 6 months. Twice I've had steamed buns with crackling roast pork..no crackling, and buns have been chewy at base..not to mention dirty tables, thanks to Coles cleaning station nearby, I've cleaned my own table every time. Today I noticed there was no crackling in the bain marie, so ordered a chicken salad bowl with coriander, which was confirmed twice. Been a weekly customer since the shop opened with my family. Costs have risen and I think we all get that but the volume of protein in a combo bowl now has shru k so much it may as well be a noodle salad bowl. Today I noticed that a very small green cup is being used to measure the protein. Its not a good look and the volume now means we wont return as customers again. We cook almost every day of the week so our est out option now will change. Wish you the best but with price increase and reduction in food volume it equates to about a 90%...
