I love this place. I was at a warehouse nearby and punched in āBahn Mi near meā. The search engine recommended several places a few kilometres away but I persisted and as I scrolled down the list I found this little gem only 400 metres from where I was. What a discovery - an authentic Vietnamese āhole in the wallā in the middle of an industrial area and on one of Adelaideās main thoroughfares (Grand Junction Rd). The pork rolls with coriander and chilli are great; as is the sweet Vietnamese coffee with just the right amount of ice. The atmosphere is very chilled and unpretentious as befits the location. And there is a mixed crowd ranging from young tradies to older locals. Although I live in the Adelaide Hills (some 50kms away) I find myself finding excuses to go to Adelaideās Northern Suburbs so I can grab myself something...
