Um. No . Go elsewhere
Liked · Location was close to tea tree Plaza. The food while extremely over priced was generous sized with average quality
Disliked · Well where do I start. Greated by the gaming staff member checking in, with a need a credit card for a $200 deposit. Sure no problems seems fair, asked any chance of two room keys as my wife was coming and going - nup we don't do that... Then when went and explored the humble abode. Greated by a friendly house guest in their car smoking a bong set a great ambience of a peaceful enjoyment. The room was basic with a old wall rattler aircon shaking away mounted in the high pitch wall well out of normal reach to adjust a thermostat but I should have been thankful as the bathroom window was screwed open in the middle of winter on a cold winter's night of 4 degrees .. The bed presented felt like a stretcher with a flat depression from a mattress obviously a decade past it's use by date.. The room was serviced, so lovely when the attendants just flick the sheet straight leave you a towel and nothing else not wiping down the benches or anything. While there was a wrapped plate of bread to make breakfast nothing was replenished . Each day removing a cup and plate without replacement crockery or glassware Resorting to drinking water from wine glass we were left with nothing so thankful the 4 days concluded as I'm sure we empty in supplies.
Lovely note on the wall excessive soiling out damage will forfeit deposit. Given the crusted dead cockroaches on the floor corners and within the drawers kind of feel I should collect a deposit for their abhorrent cleaning and standard.
Great to have a shower with a small shower in the mini bath version with im sure with a grade of mould which could be cultured to cure corona virus. The shower taps are old, the building is non compliance to temperature limiting valves which in reflection the 60 degree water was necessary to burn the disgusting germs from my body as a result of the room cleanliness standard.
Despite there add claiming free wifi, a charming lass replied, nup our rooms don't have that
So whether it the pot holed carpark, the charm of the room presentation, the obnoxious staff that look depressed that look like they are ready to cut themselves if that's what your looking in adventure then this...
Read moreWe love the kids eat free nights! As parents who work full time, it’s nice to know we can come to a local once a week for tea without the worry of cost as my young children can eat for free. Up until a few months ago, it used to be a Wednesday, and without any warning until we actually came for dinner it had changed to a Tuesday, the same day as the trivia night! Two very different groups of customers - we used to be able to walk in without a worry, but unfortunately now, we need to book in advance, and a lot of the time it’s fully booked (Yey the blue gums!) but not soo much with family who want to go out for dinner as now we can’t get a table. As a mother of two young children I don’t want to come out on a trivia night, I do want early sittings but it soon gets crowded! Would you consider putting those two nights seperate? As mentioned above, two very different group of customers, I know friends who used to go, who don’t anymore because of this reason, and we don’t come as much as we would if it was free to get a table. I understand you do kids eat free in the other bar, but again as a mother of two young children, that to me is more of a front bar scene and no salad bar! Thank you to Jaccy, for taking my booking tonight, when I said I just want a dinner with my two young children and we will be gone before trivia! She moved a table around and let us take a table who were booked for 7! Please consider changing the kids eat free night to another day :) a lot of families would be...
Read moreBooked a table in the Bar a week ago to watch the Showdown and have tea. I was told Table 5 booked for me. Arrived last night with Table 5 not available, was told it wasn't booked and could sit at Table 1. How did I know it was Table 5 if I hadn't booked it!!! Couldn't see the TV so he said you can have Table 2 which still wasn't satisfactory. There were a couple sitting on Table 5 when we arrived, and the waiter obviously didn't want to tell them it was reserved and let them continue to sit there. Fortunately they left half an hour after our arrival so we were able to finally sit at Table 5. We moved ourselves there as wasn't offered which was disappointing as the waiter knew our plight. Only 2 of us and we ordered our tea at 6-30pm. We still had not received our tea by 8pm and asked the waitress how much longer. She apologised and offered us a free drink which we accepted. Our Moroccan Lamb finally appeared at 8-15pm!!! Nearly 2hrs later. Unfortunately this has occured on previous visits to...
