Cafe Verde Pizzeria — Restaurant in Adelaide

It was a cold harsh Friday night which could match the winds of the Arctic circle, I ventured into Cafe Verde with a strong hunger for the perfect feed after a hard day's of study. I walked Into the venue to a warm Welcome, a small child's laughter and beautiful atmosphere. I walked up to the counter with a chip on my shoulder from being a lumberjack Viking and to my surprise i was treated kindly by a small gentleman by the name of Alexander, his magnificent beard which he who could definitely beat Zues himself in a manly man competition. (what a sicko) as I was choosing my food of choice, i was amazed at the range of quality meals, after a while I had come to the decision of chips. I made my way outside, as the door opened a fierce cold front sent a chill down my spine, I could feel hypothermia setting in already, before I could say anything the heater was switched on and I could once again continue on my adventure! After only waiting a mere 2 minutes i had my glass of refreshing Coca-Cola, as I looked in side I could see a young friendly smile from a lovely young lady named Jessica, as she brought my food out I was treated with perfect customer service. As I sat in the warm outside area which reminded me of a warm summers evening, layed on the beach, the sun setting in the distance, a cocktail in my hand... anyway, back to the review... after my meal I was full to the point of entering a coma, it was like I just ate a 8 course meal, washed it down with my refreshing beverage, as the night came to an end I was wished a well night with my future adventures, I smiled back, and said I shall see you next time!

Absolutely poor and stuck up service. Went up to order for lunch and asked for the vergo lunch special, which was written on the board facing into the shop saying todays special. Going up to order I was served by a younger guy with the owner / boss standing next to him. I asked for the verge burger for the days special. The owner rudely interrupted and said NO! that's not for today. I argued that you have it written on the board facing into the cafe ! He was rude and his way with approaching customers is completely wrong. If he had nicely explained the mistake I would not have left this review. We then left, to hear him bitching to his staff about how obvoius it is. If it's so obvious why have it on the fricken black board written today's specials facing into the cafe where clearly people can see. Get your head out your ass and get some customer service! Never going...

We had a lovely dinner tonight at Cafe Verde. I was super impressed. It was a busy night but the staff still went out of their way to accomodate our requests and were very friendly, checking in on us and enquiring about our meals. My husband had the chicken parmigiana and said that it is the best chicken parmigiana he has had (besides mine of course). The kids loved the fettuccine alla panna- very generous serve. The staff were only too happy to offer them a take away container to take the remainder of their meal home. I had the Atlantic salmon special. This was amazing, so delicious and beautifully presented. Looked like something I would get in a fine dining restaurant. Overall extremely happy with the food and service. Will...
