Casa Pica Pica — Restaurant in Adelaide

As a table of three, we waited over a hour and a half for all of our food to be served. We had ordered an entree (as well as our mains) which after an hour of already waiting the staff member came out to tell us wasn't available. The shop was not overly busy with only around 12 customers. We were the third table to arrive. A couple who arrived after us got their food before the other three tables.

The waiter was nice but extremely inexperienced and working the four tables on his own. There were no apologies for the delay in food.

The food that did arrive was nice but in no way worth the wait. The atmosphere of the place was also nice but I have never experienced such a wait for food.

As a new small business I would love to be able to support it but the wait was just beyond anything I have ever experienced and not ok...

This was one hell of a discovery. So far we've ordered combination paella, verde salad, patatas, meatballs, and a tortilla via ubereats.

The portion sizes are excellent. We discovered that we are able to share a paella and a couple of sides between the two of us, and still have some leftovers for someone's lunch the following day. Making excellent value for money.

The fresh ingredients really come through in each dish. The seafood has been cooked to perfection each time, as has the rest of the dishes. Honestly, I feel like I lack the sophistication to describe just how delicious the dishes are with any justice 😂

We really liked the atmosphere and location of the restaurant as it was in a nice and quiet area. The staff were extremely friendly too and we could see that they were doing all that they could to keep up with how busy they were. Unfortunately on the night we came here (valentines day) they were severely understaffed and were not expecting to be so busy so we had to wait over an hour for a food and drinks to be brought out. They gave us free drinks as an apology for the wait which was appreciated.

Despite the long wait we still plan on coming here again in the future to give it another chance as the staff were so great and the food was good and...
