I want to give this restaurant zero stars because it deserves nothing more. My recent visits to this place have been nothing short of a disaster, with my cousin, friend and I experiencing severe repercussions from the appalling food quality.
On my first visit, my cousin and I decided to try out this restaurant seeing the reviews. But the worst part was yet to come. Shortly after consuming our meals, my cousin fell seriously ill with food poisoning. It was a terrible night for him, as he was confined to the bathroom with relentless vomiting and stomach cramps. I felt absolutely horrified witnessing his condition, and it was evident that the restaurant's lack of proper hygiene and food safety protocols were to blame.
Despite the terrible experience my cousin had, I decided to give the restaurant another chance in the hope that their food quality might have good. Unfortunately, my second visit only confirmed my fears, the food was still below par, and this time, my own stomach couldn't handle it either.
After eating, I suffered from a severe upset stomach for the entire evening and this the next day I'm writing this review still I'm taking medication. It was clear that something was terribly wrong with the food they were serving, and I couldn't help but regret my decision to give them a second chance.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this restaurant at all costs. The food quality is terrible, and it poses serious health risks to anyone who dares to dine there. My family went here for the first time, we were not impressed :(. right when we sat down we realised the tables were so wobbly and sticky. Everywhere we looked the things got worse and worse. Ants swarming on the floor, flys everywhere buzzing on my food. And I’m not capping when I say I saw a dead earwig on my chair.
The service was another major issue. The waitress showed no respect, he wasn’t that bad but it’s just not quality. When we asked for tissue he simply gave us like 4 pieces and when u compare it to other restaurants like chatkaz who hand u tissues in plates, it really shows the little effort and appreciation they have.
The plates and cups were also ATROCIOUS.When they handed us some cups, one of them had this like red and black ball of like left other food from previous customers. I know this is a dishwasher issue but they simply have to check and make sure the things they serve to us are clean and won’t make the customers sick. There were also other bits and stuff on the cutlery and plates which shows how little care they have.
The food was ok though. We ordered the Thali. Most of my family thought it was ok. But I’m pretty fussy. In my opinion I believe the food is not good enough to be called restaraunt food. It’s incredibly fresh and healthy but just not pleasing to the tongue. Ig it can be called cheap though.
I’m NEVER going back to this restaurant and I advise that u guys don’t as well unless they really fix the place up.

We had our catering served by Chat Mahal Restaurant for our house warmin through a friend's reference .Regardless of verifying menu with the owner number of times they still sent the wrong items.In addition we paid for delivery and setting up buffet during the event but the staff arrived late by 30 minutes and dropped the casseroles and left without didn't setting up in the buffet.We had to engage our well dressed guests to assist with setting up the buffets and a few of the guests left without having meals because of this.
We called the owner concerning the issues and rather than listening to our feedback and speaking to her staff she started argumenting and deviated from the context of late delivery,sending wrong menu.Instead of apologies she rather sent us an invoice of the payment.I delivered back all the utensils back to the restaurant as per agreement but when I arrived none of the staff volunteered to unload utensils and kept themselves busy making personal phone calls hence I had to I had to unload them myself. Such a shame for the business. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
My wife went in to pay the invoice in person at the restaurant ,spoke to staff and asked to confirm the payment from the owner but staff kept her waiting continuing over the phone talking...
