We visited this place for the first time and the food is delicious. Big juicy prawns in the fried rice and hokkein noodles, sizzling Mongolian lamb was very tasty and the sweet and sour pork was what you would expect. The chicken skewers were a very nice entree and the quality of the meat in all dishes was overall better than your usual Chinese restaurant. The staff are very friendly, attentive and very helpful, the food came out quickly and hot. The ambience inside was a little weird, it was quite empty when we went, although this was fairly early evening on a weekday and there was an elderly lady (who may be the owner or relation of the owner) who was sitting one table over watching something on her iPad at full volume...and with no background music on in the restaurant, it was a little annoying and distracting. The decor inside is a little tired but clean and tidy. Price-wise: A bit expensive, you are looking at about $20 per main plus rice and entree drinks etc. Our meals (for 2) came to around $100 including a drink each. That being said, the portion sizes are large and we had enough leftovers for a takeaway. All up, I can recommend, I will definitely return but possibly order a bit less food!

The food was very average. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes, but what we had was very different from our expectations- the tofu hotpot is very different to what you would get normally in Chinatown with a less dark sauce, and not so dry. Next time we might try the more popular dishes like the sweet and sour or salt and pepper. However, on the positive side, portions were generous - (we couldn’t finish what we ordered so packed the leftovers as we don’t like waste) and you get complimentary prawn crackers which is a nice touch. Lovely friendly staff and free parking right outside the doorstep. They also have a kids eat free meal on certain nights of the week.

Absolutely disgusting. I had to return my order as it was like they grabbed it out the freezer and forgot to microwave it. I had two mouthfuls of soup and I’m so so sick. I returned the whole order to get my money back but because they were shut and I had to go around the back. They let me in the kitchen and it a hygiene disaster waiting to happen. The staff were rude , smoking and vaping in the kitchen while sitting on the work station. They told me to F off as it was Ubers problem! Go here at your own peril I am calling a Doctor now as I can’t stop vomiting. I’m serious don’t eat here.

Found this restaurant over decades ago as a visitor from interstate.and been a regular since.

We come to Kiet's(chef) every time we come back to visit, because you don't get food like this quality food anymore. I am a bit of a foodie and this place is a 10/10 . Told my friends about this treasure, they too have been a regular.

We came to visit recently for both work and pleasure early July 19. We ate here nearly every night, the food was amazing, constantly awesome over the years, highly quality and fresh. Huge selection to choose from. The food size is very large. Excellent value for money!!

Best Chinese food in Adelaide and Sydney. (I think the chef Kiet has worked and won a few awards for some of his dishes around the country, one of the ward dishes was the sizzling pepper steak. Very nice. Ask the chef himself.

We have tried practically every dishes and they are all awesome. We always love our old time favourite. My husband's favourite is the lemon chicken and beef chow hor fun ( not on the menu) and sizzling peppered beef. My son, a teenager loves all the fried rice and noodles and the garlic lamb, cumin & chilly lamb (my favourite too), mongolian beef/lamb and my is the pecking duck (2 course with hokkien noodles), hot & sour soup, sti fried meat and vegies, hot pots and the fried custard pancake for dessert. There were other dishes our friends ordered were yummy too. Wish I could get this quality and taste, true Chinese Hong Kong Cantonese style in Sydney. Serving size is very generous. We took some home.

Would highly recommend, 10/10 for food, and excellent friendly...

We waited for service after we were seated for about 15 minutes. This seems to be a thing for a lot of asian places nowadays and we usually order a couple of drinks as we're handed the menus- it speeds the service up but we weren't quick enough this time! My partner mentioned something when the young fella came over and we were looked after promptly following that. The food was a stand out among the hundreds of other similar restaurants. Chicken satays and spring rolls to share for starters, quite possibly the best spring rolls I've had in a very long time! Very, very fresh and flavoursome and tasty satay sauce on generous skewers. Chicken Chow Mien had a great amount of vegies, was delicious and a big serve. Honey prawns... X-large, obviously very fresh and not too overbattered and best of all... The lovely honey (ever so slightly gingery) sauce ON THE SIDE!! Crisp, juicy prawns not swimming in sauce! Well done to their new trainee waitress for her friendliness and warm welcome! I love it when staff are engaged and happy. We'll bring the family next time! Highly recommend for great food, generous serves and...
