KFC Golden Grove — Restaurant in Adelaide

I usually order from Golden Grove KFC about 2 times a month and have been for over 10 years and haven't really had any problems. Today I ordered a meal with a large pepsi through the drive through. When I went to the window and pay the girl gave me a 600ml pepsi (small bottle) I pointed out it that I ordered a large and she insisted that the 600ml was a large pepsi... I the pointed out that the bottom of the fridgerator are the large bottles.. She then claimed they were not large they were 1.25litre. I said I want a large, she then charged me for it.. then I said are you going to refund me for the 600ml... she flatly said no.. I mentioned I did not order this, another girl turned up and she asked her if she new how to refund and she said she didn't know how to and will ask the manager.. In the end I paid also for the large and said don't worry about it as the cue behind me was getting bigger and I didn't want to hold people up. I put in a complaint with head office, it will be interesting to see if the contact me. That is really bad customer service, obviously she realised she made a mistake and tried to turn it on me by trying to convince me it was large. I checked their app to see if it was called a large just in case.. but it only showed the cans and 600ml bottles.. no mention of small , medium or large drinks.. I am so disappointed that she...

I don't usually write reviews, but my recent visit to this KFC compelled me to share my thoughts. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was inviting, impeccably clean, and well-lit, making me feel immediately at ease.

The staff members were courteous, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which is a rare these days. The person who took my order was particularly helpful in recommending the Zinger Burger Box Hot & Crispy which was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—and the spice blend was the perfect mix of heat and flavor.

Like most people I usually dread the long wait times at fast-food restaurants, but my order was ready in what felt like record time. And when I bit into my first piece of chicken, all my expectations were exceeded. You could taste the quality and care that went into preparing the meal.

All in all, this KFC restaurant stands out as a model example of what fast-food dining should be—quick, delicious, and staffed by people who take pride in their work. I'll definitely be returning and recommending this location to...

I come back from work not expecting much, as the KFC these days has been TERRIBLE, but I enter either way, just hoping for a mediocre meal... I shouldn't have even hoped for that. As before, I'm even inside; I watch as what I could only describe as a primal monster (homeless man) charges at me from the bushes with a handcrafted spear. but his attempt falls short as he falls over and smashes his face on the ground, losing the last of his 2 teeth. after all that dramaI finally enter the KFC, and the floors are just slippery with what seems to be KFC grease from a family bucket specifically wiped across the floor, putting my life at risk. I try putting all that behind me, though, as I order, and the accountant seems to be "nice."
