Like any take away, you have to tell them how you want your food cooked eg. my wife likes her food cook longer than me, so that's what we ask for, and get. Portions are good size for any big bloke and good quality as the locals will attest but do be specific about how you want your food cooked. So many of our friends don't so are disappointed with their dining experience. Yes, even at the local take away. They're not mind readers. There's 3 tables outside with a beautiful view of the yacht jetty that's quiet and romantic enough to make it a nice place to take the wife if, she's the down to earth type. Just down the road from Semaphore, but far enough away to avoid the warm night's masses out strolling and dinning. It ain't The Ritz but it's not a truck stop either. It's simply your local fish and chips shop with a reputation for good food at reasonable prices with friendly service from the owners and not some unsupervised moody teenager. Enjoy! 👌

Took one hour for the food to come out. "Large pizza for 2" unless you have NO appetite and you're an almond mum don't order that. It's thinner and has less toppings than Domino's. It was tiny. Smaller than a small pizza. Actually pathetic. The garlic bread tasted good. Milkshake was okay, expensive for a small glass. THE PIZZA WAS SO EXPENSIVE TOO. The Squid was 4 squid rings on chips with salad. Was a "share" dish but more accurately just a single meal. Not filling at all. Tasted good though. The view was okay. Service is... meh at best. Was 12:50pm. Not that busy.

Went in for the first time today- Shop was filthy, the POS terminal (cash register and screens) filthy and dirty, never been cleaned/or not for several weeks. Thick layer of dirt, oil and food stuck on glass, food prep areas and cash register area. Floor was sticky and dirty surfaces made me not want to touch anything!

We ordered 2 AB packs, $18 each. Expensive, but thought we'd try them. The result was only having a few bites, as we tied to push the heavy amounts of cheap tomato sauce and bbq sauce away to look for the meat, the chips & meat was like eating small strips of dried wood/sticks. Just drenched in sauce!! Not much garlic sauce and it wasn't home made or good quality, cheap watered down garlic slopped on top. The whole thing looked absolutely disgusting. Like vomit! So much cheese on top, I'm actually amazed at the reviews, are you people blind? No taste buds?? This is NOT authentic Greek style. Shop was run by Indians. Never going back, we had to put the rest in the bin and I was really disappointed and disgusted at the slop they called an AB. Not worth it, go to Doras or Sottos for REAL Greek style. This was terrible. Who puts tomato sauce and barbecue sauce on a bloody AB!???!!!

TO THE OWNERS: CLEAN YOUR SHOP!...

On a bike ride today, my partner and I stopped in at this deli. My partner eventually negotiated something vegetarian out of them, while I opted for a simple cookie and water.

I waited for about 4 minutes for anyone to notice my existence - in particular the staff member intently making a sandwich, intently ignoring me; or the other staff member who walked past me no less than 3 times; before telling someone behind me he would be "just a moment".

Finally, my presence was noted; and I was served. The cookie and water (600ml) cost a mere $6.30. After taking the first bite of the cookie I noticed it was inedible - beyond stale, beyond cardboard; but infact composed of a mix of plaster, coconut, chocolate and bitter disappointment.

I was furious; and threw out the food. I should have complained, but I didn't have another eternity to wait to be noticed.

I would wholeheartedly not recommend this...
