lt was lunch and the vegetarian slice looked the best of the selection for me. A nice pumpkin colour and at $8 I hoped it was as good as it looked. With onion jam on the side made it really apetising. Then I took a bight... and yuk. It had the texture of damp clay at best and no flavour to speak of. I couldn't face another bight so returned it to the counter and as I put it up made a comment: this is really, really bad in a nice but matter of fact way. As if it wasn't bad enough having to return it the following reaction left me gobsmacked. Really bad was it said the young lady and with that simply picked it up and put it down on the bench before walking away. That was it. One of my go to places for great coffee combined with healthy, yummy food.
Situated on a sunny corner on King William Road Goodwood, they have seating outdoors for warm summer days and indoors if the weather is inclement.
They are a cafe which caters to all sorts of food preferences with options for gluten free, wheat free, dairy free etc. But if that sounds weird to you don't let it put you off.
Their food is delicious. They have a range of yummy salads, beautiful savoury slices all made in house plus raw desserts, smoothies and my favourite, the smoothie bowls.
Add to that free wifi (if you like to work while you eat) and happy staff you have a recipe for a healthy, yummy...

Its a bummer to see the quality here go down so much. My favourite thing about NR was the salads. They used to have salads packed with seeds, superfoods, cashews, candied almonds and amaaaazing vegetables, you could get full on a salad alone. And now? It's this.... very ordinary and underwhelming salad that could be bought from a fish and chip shop. Wilted rocket, rusty ends of cabbage and lettuce, gross tasting tomatos... and overcooked spiral pasta? What the hell happened to you guys!?
I'm so gutted I paid $23 for this. Sucks that they're not what they used to be. No longer awesomely tastey.
