Oporto Peterhead Drive Thru — Restaurant in Adelaide

If I could give 0 stars I would. I never leave reviews and never in my business name but I had no other option. This is got to be the worst oportos I have ever experienced in Australia. I live in Brisbane city and have for 7 years. I recently came to Adelaide for 12 months and this is the first and last time I will order from here.

I ordered our food @6:30, I am still currently waiting for the food on Uber eats and it’s 8:00pm. I ordered take out as a quick easy Friday option for me and my daughter and yet, still waiting.

I called the store - someone answered and without any response just breathing I said “hello” She then responded with “hi” I was in shock and confused as a business they have answered the phone so poorly, I said “is this oportos?” She responded “yes. I am busy.”

Um …. I asked where is the food? Is it coming? Just said “sorry” wnd hung up.

Not sure who hired this person? No customer service skills or people communication at all.

I have another business with over 100+ staff, and I would die and the customers would die if this is how the phone conversations go.

In short - owners, check your store. This is a franchise. I’ve eaten everywhere in Brisbane and often, but this has turned me right off Adelaide locations.

I have been here a couple of times and it has always been great - friendly, if not a little slow, food was great. This afternoon's service was anything but. Soooo slow and the girl did not repeat my order back and just automatically assumed I wanted a large meal as I realised while I was paying. Oh well, I thought. While eating some chips on the way home I was so disappointed. They were so bland and hardly had any salt and not the usual taste. When I got home after dealing with peak hour traffic I just wanted to enjoy the delicious Bondi burger. Upon opening I was disappointed once more. I specifically asked for NO chilli but it was like I had asked for extra chilli. Unfortunately I had driven 20 minutes home so there was no going back. I tried to scrape and pick off as much chilli as possible but I really only ate about 20% of that meal. Definitely depends on the staff working as to how accurate you'll...

Chips were okay, hardly any Mayo on wrap when asked specifically for extra, (heavy Mayo), drink wasn't given to me at all and x2 chocolate mousses were watery and curdled.. inedible and both thrown into the bin. Called to have issues resolved and to also inform them of their off/ out of date products, i even offered to bring them back in, i was told I was wrong about and that is how they are supposed to be. Then i was expected to drive back to the store to have only the wrap corrected once I returned the one I had already been given back to them.. Issue not resolved.

Will not return to this venue and will recommend to family and friends...
