Last night we got sweet n sour pork with special fried rice which cost about $35. The rice only has 2 tiny prawns and the pork was abizmal, lakes any flavour and was a blatant intentional rip off!
I'm so angry that the most expensive meal in months that we got was so awful and scammy.
Every single piece of 'sweet n sour pork' was mostly the breading which was very doughy and tasted like a bland undercooked doughnut ball. The pork inside was approx half the size of a tic-tac and was a tiny square, I mean wtf!
The service on pickup was also awful on the phone they quoted 35-40 mins, when we got there at that time they said in a snarky tone that it'll be another 5 mins, but it took over 50 mins in the end with no apology on the wait.
Do better, be better!
I do have to mention though that the satay beef is amazing, but portions have decreased a lot with the price rise lately and it's just not worth it any more.
If you want good Asian food go to mai kitchen or red rock cos Silver Dragon...

I haven't had food from here in many years...way back when the little Chinese man use to deliver. Obviously new people in there now...I think .ok about the food.. I was surprised actually..got the combo entree plate, prawn chips,salt and pepper squid,sweet and sour pork and xl fried rice...was very good. Rice was beautiful..squid was great . S&S pork probably had to much sauce but was very Nice.... couple of things I'd like to add. Young lady taking orders..maybe tell people where you are from...not just hello..nothing really to worry people about tho but just a little more professional. consistently reliable. I know places change hands. It's inevitable as people retire or look for new challenges The incoming people have big shoes to fill the Silver Dragon rises to the challenge. Good suburban Australian Chinese food. It's a takeaway shop not fine dining. You order, you take away or have delivery. Use a translation app and order in Chinese if you struggle communicating Most people communicate fine.
