Zeeas Review
On Tuesday 14th of May, our English class went on an excursion to Zeeas Café at Golden Grove Village. The place looked cute and was set out nicely. Our class sat at a long table with a view of outside. The service was very good. The menu items were a bit pricey but that is expected because it is a small business which uses fresh, local produce from Tony and Marks. My friend and I ordered something to share which was Eggs Benedict and a glass of orange juice. The meals came out pretty fast and the presentation looked stunning. Unfortunately the orange juice was watery and the eggs benedict was a bit disappointing. The spinach made the croissant soggy and the bacon wasn’t cooked to our liking. However, I really enjoyed the poached eggs. The yolk oozed out when I cut them. Despite the small issues with my meal, everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs. A couple of friends got muffins and smoothies. The muffins were blueberry and chocolate. I tried a bit of each of the muffins, which were freshly baked, sweet and tasty. I also tried the mixed-berry smoothie, which looked really appealing because it was presented with shaved coconut around the rim of the cup. Overall, my experience...
Read moreOn the 14th of May, the 2019 Year 12 Essential English Class went to ZEEA’s Eatery at the Golden Grove Shopping Centre. The staff was friendly while taking our orders and also very patient considering the number of people that went. They went out of their way to make a dish that wasn’t on the menu. I had a double chocolate chip muffin which was deliciously warm and comforting to eat. The eatery is attached to Tony and Mark’s, which means the ingredients are local and sustainable. Within minutes after ordering, people started receiving their orders. It wasn’t long before I could dig into the muffin, which looked like it had been made with love. The muffin was served on a plate with a fork and serviette which meant I could eat it without spilling crumbs everywhere. The muffin was very filling, and other classmates enjoyed eating my leftovers. As for the café and the seating, it was very cosy. The café has tiles with patterns on them as a wall. The experience overall was enjoyable, but I wouldn’t go back with the same size group if I were to...
Read moreZeea's Eatery is a cosy little place up in the Golden Grove Shopping Centre located across from Drakes and diagonal to Barossa Fine Foods. I sat down for just a coffee and this has been one of the best coffee's yet in South Australia.
The staff is wonderful. I had a girl a bit older than my age who took my order and had a bit of a laugh which is something not many people do in places, regardless if busy or not. Kind and patient which is something places need. I had a run in multiple times with different restaurants and cafe's who haven't been patient or food and drinks aren't at its' finest.
If a coffee addict and anyone looking for good coffees, Zeea's has the best coffees, regardless if you have dietary requirements like I do. I was left speechless with such wonderful staff and coffee to find the place empty. Happy to report that the reviews below have the same positive reviews in coffee.
Thank you, Zeea's Eatery and thank you, Jodie. I will be coming again most definitely. Let's make sure you've got more customers in the...
