This restaurant is rude, incompetent, unreliable and erratic as well as serving over priced unimpressive pizza. I have been their customer for about three years now, and have put up with their quirks due to the dearth of other options. They have previously given me the wrong order, made a song and dance about finding my address, and had erratic and ever changing delivery times ranging from good to obscenely slow. Tonight I attempted ordering a pizza by phone. The woman on the line seemed to have a yelled conversation with someone in the background to check delivery times, and told me it would be 15 to 20 minutes. ( which seemed very optimistic to the point of BS), after taking my order for a family sized pizza with the lot, no tomato paste and with extra anchovies, she seemed to want to get rid of me like she was in an urgent hurry, and hung up on me as I tried to say the sentence....."Don't you want to take down my address and contact number..?." I was a couple of words into that question when she hung up on me. I thought that perhaps there was a reason. Having ordered from them a couple of dozen times before, she perhaps had memorized my address, and/or they also had my phone number on a list somewhere ( such as a computer data base) so there was no need for my address and phone number. I remained open minded. I didn't know if they lacked the basic competence to take down even the most rudimentary elements of a phone order, or if conversely, they were so on top of their game that they recognized my voice and/or order from the dozens of times I have bought from them before and would be here in due course. Its now been over two hours. It is past their closing time. They made no attempt to call back. I'm done. Hanging up on someone speaking to you is extremely rude. Hanging up on someone without taking basic details of an order is CLUELESS. Manners cost nothing. These people don't even appreciate the basic business concept of keeping loyal customers I grew up in the western suburbs of Melbourne, and I have lived in Italy. I know pizza. i have worked in hospitality myself. I've been a pizza delivery driver, I have managed a tapas restaurant, I have done all sorts of student jobs before starting my profession. Their pizza is very ordinary and over priced. So yes, I can recommend them IF you like impatient short tempered rude people who are too stupid to know how to take a phone order, wasting your time, and leaving you eating instant noodles alone at your stupid desk on a Saturday night, because your hopes of recreation for the week rested in a grotesquely over-priced, mediocre indifferently cooked pizza at about 12% of Melbourne quality, which may be delivered to you hours later....or in this case...simply NOT AT ALL. I want to be fair..so let me be specific in terms of quality crust consistency is all over the place: sometimes underdone, and sometimes plywood. therefore cooking times and oven temperatures need to be monitored by someone who is actually awake sometimes burnt, although I don't mind that so much if eating alone quality of salami and red meat used is horrible quality of cheese used is not horrible but pretty ordinary quality of olives is acceptable quality of pineapple is acceptable capsicum is fine mushrooms seem ok but stingy quality of prawns is very good. quality of anchovies is ok...but very much a spot the anchovies level of spread. Delivery and logistics is a dog's breakfast, as per tonight's experience. Cost is not well connected to quality. for one pizza session you could go to Mackas three times, or a franchise pizza place twice. Being rude and incompetent on the phone though is the clincher. They are fired. As for no EFTPOS. The first story was that they had a problem with their machine but now they haven't had EFTPOS for months. Is this an ATO related decision? Multiple customers have commented about them being "only cash" now, so if they are paying tax fully then whats the story? Its 2018, most of us use cards. Also don't buy any salad,...
Read moreFinally, FINALLY found a Pizza House for our familiy, it's taken years filtering through them..... It's 13 minutes there and 13 minutes back to our home, so the pizzas are hot when we get home!! These people in and around the shop were so friendly and helpful, it was such a bubbly and chatty environment, you could sense the familiy (Ness) about it. The you laday serving me was awsome, and advised me of 2 bottles of drinks on the house (We ordered 6 x Families), that was a bonus, and very nice. A young guy offerred to help me get the Pizzas into the car, unlock it for me, just so helpful, and a genuinely happy environment!! Thanks so much to all of you, chefs included in particular, as these pizzas were drop dead delicious!! We have now found our NEW LOCAL we were all chatting this morning, knowing there is WAY more on your menu, so we are looking forward to sampling from across the menu. I also wanted to mention, the pizza reheat for brunch the next day was loved by all, even 2 kids that didnt have it last night fresh!!.

Read moreI'm a big fan of pizza and have eaten at more pizzerias than I can recall and I was looking forward to having wood oven pizza as there is nothing nearby that offers it and i need to say that I was absolutely disgusted at what was delivered to me! The dough was flat with not aeration and no charring or flavour brought on by the wood oven which makes me question if they even have one, the Ingredients used were definitely bulk buy cheap produce as I've never experienced wood oven or any quality pizza shop using shredded ham it's such a waste of the opportunity and they definitely need to work on balancing flavours as the garlic pizza didn't even taste of garlic however the house special which should be called a ham pizza as that's all you could see bar a few pieces of zucchini had a sickening amount of garlic on it and I love garlic. I don't do bad reviews it's not my style so this is a first but I felt it had to be said so the owner has the opportunity to read and make adjustments because wood oven pizza is a wonderful things to experience...
