The service was quite good and they gave us a table even though we did not have a booking. The bar and outside area is pretty awesome. The food was very disappointing. We both had entrees. My wife had the haloumi which she enjoyed. I had the Kingfish which was very underwhelming for the price and had enough sauce for about two mouthfuls. But was overall not bad. We both got the Scotch Fillet steaks which were the most expensive items on the menu at $45 each. The cuts of meat were absolutely terrible with about half of the meat chewy fat. We both ordered medium rare and got blue. If I didn't have a 2 year old toddler who had already finished his meal.and getting restless I would have sent it back. We had nearly finished when the waitress came to ask if we were enjoying our meals to which I showed her the gristley fat on my plate to which she replied 'Well I do feel that a scotch fillet is a fattier cut of meat'. I then showed her how raw the meat was and she said that she wished she had come around sooner and we could have sent it back as it was very 'Under cooked'. The sides were basically shredded lettuce with caesar sauce and 5 potatoes that were not very flash either. It is a shame as we live nearby and we went for a drink there a few weeks earlier and really enjoyed the place. We will not however be going back for food. The ousting cost $207 for 2 entrees, 3 meals and two drink each. I don't mind paying decent money for food, but I do expect decent food for that price.

This venue is a frequent choice to meet and eat .. because previously, all my expectations were fully met. However, this visit was disappointing. Two out of three main courses were simply not up to standard. One dish consisted of chicken still raw in the middle and another, falafel balls, which broke down to a tasteless, inedible powder when broken. A pile of baby spinach leaves filled the plate - but without any sort of garnish/dressing! I had booked for myself and two senior guests for lunch at 1.15 pm. We were bundled off the table at 3pm by staff wishing to empty the dining room! 😖 Retired people doing lunch socially don't expect a rushed experience! Beautiful decor, table service and a comfortable dining area mean nothing when one experiences the above...

Decided to book dinner here for the first time tonight & was somewhat disappointed with the overall experience. Staff seemed half interested. We were greeted with more or less "your 15 minutes late so you only have until 7.15pm". I said we would only need an hour. Entrees and drinks came out quick but surprisingly waited over 30 minutes for the mains even though we were one of the first to be seated at 5.15pm - After we received the mains the dirty entree plates werent picked up until we were well into our meals. Atmosphere was somewhat noisy. Unlikely we will return. There's a lot better...
