Balaklava Golden Wheat Bakery — Restaurant in Balaklava

Sadly this bakery has gone downhill. The windows, outdoor area, door, along with internal customer area was quite dirty. The cabinets had a build up of crumbs on the shelving and in the bottom together with fingerprints on the front, gave it a grubby appearance. There was very little to choose from in the cake section and only one of each type of pie in the warmer. The staff weren't friendly and when asked a question about a type of pie which I was unfamiliar with, there was no answer and a blank look in response. The pies we bought were barely warm but did have nice pastry and ample filling, although a little bland. I chose a chicken tika masala which had no chicken that I could see, but there were chunks of potato instead. The other pie purchased was steak which was tasty but very dry meat.
