Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a backroad trip to Wallaroo from Adelaide, so glad we did. Friendly staff, quick service and possibly the best value for money we have seen in years. Perfect Chicken Schnitzel with Pepper Sauce, fresh hot chips huge serve of three different salads and a warm bread roll. Wife's mushroom gravy actually had a massive amount of mushrooms in it. Both delicious and served with N ice cold pale ale. $11 each for the main meals , thought we had gone back to the 80s based on the price. Attended for a birthday, salad bar was minimal. Pasta salad, potato salad, beetroot, barely any coleslaw. Sister ordered garlic prawns on her chicken schnitzel, absolutely disgusting sauce. I tried it, my mother tried it, basically just butter and some packet powder or something. No real garlic taste, my sister just scraped it off and didn't even eat her last few prawns because it was that sickly. Frozen overcooked unseasoned vegetables make you feel right at home.
