Golden Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Bargo

This place has gone down lately as I have bought meals from there and the food was not good, the Chicken chow mein had been frozen as it was still frozen in the middle. I expected it was cooked after ordering it but not this dish still very frozen in the centre. Then thought I would give it another go and not good the 'sauce' was like water with a colour to it and not taste whatever, meat tough. What has happened to this place? It is not...

First and only time we will buy from here. Food was awful … lemon chicken was a box half full of crumbs with no chicken. Lemon sauce was like water with lemon juice added. Singapore noodles covered in curry. Omelette bathing in bbq sauce and now we both feel sick. It wasn’t cheap either. Is takeaway only and half the menu wasn’t available. Would not recommend AT ALL … worst Chinese meal...

I regularly eat here, and it's a must visit for fans of Chinese cuisine. Great food, especially if you're adventurous enough to try different things on the menu. Every now and then the chefs like to add new dishes onto a temporary menu, which are always worth trying. Currently they have a very tasty peanut Malaysian Satay which I've emptied most of my bank account...
