The food here is terrible. Small meals, low quality meat. I can’t stand thin steaks. The head chef is rude, and insults and intimidates other staff. No one should support a pub with an employment policy that doesn’t address work place bullying. They always get the order wrong, and are reluctant to correct it.

To top that off the owner is incredibly rude.

Very limited beers on tap. It gives that real seedy back water pub vibe. It often smells bad to top it off.

Accusing people of things doesn’t make your hotel seem better. That wasn’t the case on the evening.

We were regulars until we saw the behaviour from your patrons and security. If you wish to go down that path however the public can read the truth.

We were inside eating food after having it remade, third time that week. We can go into the churros served with salt instead of sugar? As we were eating a patron kept grabbing my partner to dance. She asked them to leave her alone. We went to the car park. She was followed out. None of your staff did anything. She left in a friends car I was sitting in my Ute. I got out and the door touched the car next me, which was apologised for immediately. The two males inside decided to get out and push me. Your guards came out pushing the other two blokes from that car bailing him up in a small garage.

Note the carpark was unmanaged and traffic controls were not implemented.

I complained to your staff, and Andrew Ingram became rude and abusive instantly. No aggression was displayed to him or the guards. Andrew attempted to stop me from getting back into the drivers side of the vehicle to get home to my partner who was having a panic attack after this incident. Police attended our house to report the assault inside Bargo hotel. Which is being investigated by narellan police. Alledgely there is no camera footage. So continue to deny responsibility and duty of care. I will continue to report this and take it to whatever level is required to garner and apology.

We consistently witnessed drug use on the premises as well. We generally attended the pub twice a week with zero incidents,...

The only issue with the interaction was that Sam had addressed the child in a very abrupt intimidating manner. While of course animals have rights, this child has special needs, instead of addressing him Sam should have come to the parents to request he "leave the chickens alone". It could have then respectfully been discussed that the child isn't able to comprehend that. So we did end up asking Sam if the chickens could please be locked away so they are ok, and the little boy could continue happily playing in the play area and jumping castle. While I have never had an issue at this establishment (aside from the veggie nachos being removed from the menu :,( ). I think if your establishment is inclusive of all humans from all walks of life, perhaps just a little more education towards the stuff and how they approach children. Best bet would be to always approach the parent first, as no one should be taking it into their own hands to approach someone else's child. I hope that this establishment will continue to be not only family friendly, but also inclusive of people who may need a little extra help, patience, understanding and kindness. I hope you have a great day and continue helping...

I eat here regularly. Food is generally very good. I believe the best in Bargo and Tahmoor, but can be inconsistent at times. Only had one time where the food was no good and I was actually sick. I was given a refund. Have had a few burnt dishes served up more than once. Service has been better lately at the bistro and very good at the bar. I'm not a fan of the recent changes to the pub it was a step backwards. Can be very noisy and busy at times. Foul language and inconsiderate people a plenty. Lots and lots and lots of smokers! Both in and out of the smokers areas with smoke blowing back into all areas of the pub and bistro and outdoor areas. Ash and ashtrays in food areas. "Massive detraction". Hygiene seems to have improved a little since my last review with exception to the pokie room which is feral and unhygienic. While not restricted to here alone I've never seen any of the men here wash their hands after using the bathroom! Not once in more than 5 yrs. The best bit is the next cigarette you light you're putting all the dirty germs from the guy before you all over your lips...

Located at 225 Great Southern Road, Bargo, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 We came here for lunch after visiting the nearby Dingo Sanctuary and we were very happy with our visit. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s very wheelchair 🦽 accessible. There’s plenty of parking 🅿️ available and toilet 🚻 facilities. The food was delicious 😋. I had the lunch special of Chicken Schnitzel and chips for $15.00 and I couldn’t fault it. My friend had the soup of the day which was Pumpkin 🎃 and she said it was delicious 🤤. We loved the big inflatable slid and jumping castle near the children’s playground. My group included people with disabilities and a couple of them especially loved the jumping castle. EVERYONE loved the chickens 🐓 and the chicken coop outside also. We had a great time out there interacting with the chickens 🐔. The layout of the bistro made it really easy for our carers to manoeuvre the wheelchairs and walkers around the tables and chairs. This was appreciated. I would definitely recommend Hotel Bargo. Thumbs up 👍👍👍

From the outside the look is deceiving. Step through the door to find a great little family pub. Plenty of parking at rear. Play area for kids. Outside seating and indoor eatery that has by far the best value pub meals. If you are a small eater ask for a smaller serving as the meal sizes are plentiful. The food was fresh, hot, tasty and cooked just right. It is most definitely worth the drive if you are looking for a good value pub meal to be accompanied by a nice cool ale. Definitely recommend.

We were greeted on arrival from a nice man at the bar, went to the bistro, everyone in the kitchen was lovely, went to the bar to order and the young lady was not friendly at all. The food was very good, 3 of us had the lunch menu and the 4th person chose from the main menu. EDIT, we received our meals at 2.05pm (approximately), we arrived maybe 10-15 minutes prior on Friday 26th April.
