The Local Italian Pizzeria Ristorante — Restaurant in Bargo

Terrible service! Our family of 4 arrived on a Saturday evening, just before 6pm, at the same time as another patron. They were directed to their table, and I was ignored for about 5 minutes while I waited (not even a greeting). I was pointed in the direction of our table, where we sat for 10 minutes without anyone coming over. I approached the front and requested a menu, where they apologised for not coming over to bring them. We then waited another 10 minutes without anyone coming over and the restaurant was filling up with patrons. We decided to order takeaway as the table service was appalling. After waiting 20 minutes we thought we'd check on the progress of our order, so we could go for a walk and come back when it was ready. After some confused looks from the waitstaff (who actually took the order) and kitchenstaff, our order was finally located and were told at ETA of 7:55pm, over an hour longer to wait. Kitchenstaff said "weren't you told what time when you ordered?". DEFINITELY NO! Cancelled the order and got pizza somewhere else, and didn't have to wait 2 hours. Saw a couple of other patrons in the alternative pizza joint, that also got fed up with the table service. COME ON LOCAL ITALIAN PIZZERIA! If you can't offer decent table service then don't do it! Just get people to come to the counter to order and pay, and collect...

A HIDDEN GEM TO DISCOVER. To all those out their who love authentic traditional Italian cuisine. I personally challenge you to make a trip out to THE LOCAL ITALIAN PIZZERIA RISTORANTE in Bargo. As a qualified chef, it is extremely difficult to take the wife out for an amazing dinning experience. As I'm constantly finding flaws in most hospitality establishments. This HIDDEN GEM i was told about took me an hour and 10 minutes to get to and it was 100 percent worth the travel. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a menu that made our mouths water. The food was fresh clean and super satisfying to the taste buds. The love and dedication the staff put into their service and cooking made you feel like you were having dinner in their home. So I erge you to go and enjoy the flavours of Italy the authentic and traditional way it should be. Thank you to all the staff for shinning light of hope for great food...

Food was good, Prices not accurate in the menu or online to what you are charged. The service was good from servicing staff but find been here a few times now and the front counter staff don’t even try small talk or take you to a table just say choose a table, also our order at the end wasn’t even confirmed with us like other restaurants.

Would we come here again we will wait and see maybe but as we do have another we go to regularly.

Think main thing of improving is front counter service just a bit of small talk would be nice get to know your customers and updating prices on menus and on websites to accurate prices so people know what they are paying and confirming order upon paying so this reassures customers what they are paying for Otherwise ok place. But also limited parking but 7/10 times you will get a parking at the petrol station this is inside of.
