Don's kitchen — Restaurant in Barham

We visited last night for a birthday party and had a terrible experience with our waitress. From the moment we arrived she was rude, snapping at us, rolling her eyes, and making snarky comments over very reasonable requests (like asking for share plates). When I mistakingly scanned the QR code on the empty table beside ours to order (not realising each table had its own code), she angrily told me I’d ordered for the wrong table and slammed my food down so hard it slid across the table. She also refused to answer basic questions like whether a meal she had brought out was the vegetarian option. Our group was polite and well-behaved, and nothing we asked for was unreasonable. The only point the service improved was when another staff member took over after I complained in person at the bar. We were told they were busy and understaffed, but that’s no excuse for the way we were treated. Sadly, this left such a bad impression that I doubt any of us...

Large group of us, dined in at Don's Kitchen last night. The food was delicious, as usual. There were two staff waiting on us during the night. One staff member, was doing a great job in a courteous and friendly manner, while the other staff member, Susie, was berating her loudly across our table in the middle of the dinig room. This appeared to us, completely rude and definitely uncomfortable for all. Maybe Susie needs a lesson in hospitality. Went into dons kitchen today for one of there lunch specials don't get me wrong the food was delicious ordered the Mongolian beef, wasn't as spicy as I hoped for, and I swear I asked for fried rice but I believe this is steamed rice I'm not to sure as I have not gotten Chinese here before, but I looked at there pitures online and my rice does look different from what they have as fried rice, I even called to make sure and he said it was fried(I'm just not positive it is as the rice felt very wet and white) when the fried usually has a tinge of...
