Subway — Restaurant in Barwon South West

I use to go to this subway a lot, the service was great, food was great and overall a great experience.

Recently the quality of all of these has gone down hill. I typically order a toasted footlong chicken sub and a garlic toastie. And recently the quality has been abysmal. The chicken is luke warm at best, the the cheese is cold, minimal salad all in the direct centre of the sandwich so it's just bread on the ends, and then enough sauce to kill a Victorian era child. On top of this the "toasting" could barely be called as such, when it comes out of the oven the only thing crispy being maybe the edges of the bread. Possibly because it's not running hot enough in which case get a new one but another issue they have is that they'll take it all out at about half time. Might not be a big problem for some people but because they rely on the toaster to cook the chick it always comes out cold.

I then get to take my practically at this point, cold sauce on bread and get to disappointedly eat this abomination for my lunch. I've been repeatedly let down over the past 4 months.

What happened to the quality I was use to? Why do I now have to scoop sauce out of my sandwich before I can eat it?

It makes me sad that I now feel I have to post this to warn other patrons and hopefully the manager can see this so they can try and improve the food, I really did use to enjoy the food there. But I've been pushed to my limit. I can't take this any more. Please fix...

Called in late Sunday morning to order subs for lunch. I was served by a heavily mascara'd female with straight, dark hair. I ordered two 6 inch subs, one chicken schnitzel and the other one was steak and cheese. When she was adding the salad I asked if mine was steak and cheese and she told me that I'd ordered a bacon and cheese. When I told her that I would never order that (I don't eat pork) and that I'd ordered steak and cheese she told me very abruptly again that I'd ordered bacon and cheese whilst staring at me rudely. When I asked if I needed to go elsewhere she sighed and threw it in the bin before saying that they didn't have steak. Worst service ever and the salads were definitely not fresh looking (the lettuce was limp and brown). They must be really struggling to find staff if they resort to employing someone like that! was belittled in front of customers and my kids because i didnt have a mask due medical reason tried to tell staff that id happily show them in private but i wasnt even given the chance was just told to leave over and over they couldnt even give me some privacy to show them the reason why i believe this is a GODDARD owned subway very very disappointing wont ever return as they werent even asking ppl to check in or show certificate nor were they following 1.5 m rule and had easily over 15 ppl in there small shop while staff werent even wearing masks correctly handling food with out gloves on but ayy im the bad person for being medically unfit place was a mess paper on floor ppls receipts hanging off the machine 7 ppl working couldnt even get a order right 2 people in there...
