Spacious and entertaining - fun and relaxing for all ages, human and fur-kind alike.
So much to do here, really. Good parking, good access with good facilities in the park or nearby.
Play equipment of many types including a flying fox. Many swings. There is a half netball / basketball court with with ring each. Some equipment is for little tackers and some is for older kids. There is even a free outdoor gym with bars and hydraulic weights. Lots of grass for frisbees, soccer, kick to kick. Gravel paths for strolling about.
It is beside the river where you can often see birds - waterhens, coots, ducks - and sometimes rowers and waterskiers.
There are heaps of bench seats, acres of grass for picnics, and there are also several free bbqs (stainless hotplates).
Toilets 🚻 yes. Lots of bins for rubbish and for recycling, as well as one for doggy do-dos.
Many types of trees.
Nearby there is a milk bar and near that is a phone booth.
