BIRD watchers of the " feathered " kind š¦ will be really excited to know that shy little Chestnut Rumped Heathwrens are quietly living within the heathland in the Barwon Valley Park area, opposite the Tasman Holiday Park. Hard to photograph them, but if you wait patiently, they come out of the Bullrushes to catch small insects and can be viewed.

Newly renovated. Large open park. Great clean park. Close to the water edge. Across the road from the holiday parks. Not much shade, bring a hat. Bbq and picnic areas.

It's a great park for kids with lots of things to do, just needs a little more shade on a warm sunny day. Being by the river certainly adds to the atmosphere.
