5th edit: Incredibly it is still carrying on. I'll let others decide for themselves as to who is whining and coming across as immature. Arguing with a genuine review is a great look thoughđđ» and hilariously keeps my review at the top of the pile.

It's still carrying on.... Do the grown ups know you are writing all that? Carry on like a lunatic and I'll point it out. Can't handle an honest review maybe change industries. Your replies are doing you more damage than anything I have said so I'll let people make up their own minds. Good luck to you.
3rd edit:
Thought I'd look back and see if the owner had continued to cry and I'm once again blown away by their unprofessionalism. Apparently I'm not welcomed back because I chose to give an honest review. Don't know if I would trust someone this unhinged to be handling my food again anyway. For anyone wondering - I think they changed venues & didn't update photos on the website which then gave me the wrong information on what to expect. They could have explained that but instead have chosen to be an idiot. Food & staff were nice enough, but when somewhere promotes themselves as "dog friendly" it feels like a bit of an afterthought to be relegated to a couple of tables out the front and despite multiple communication that we were indeed bringing dogs - we were reserved a table inside. Yes I understand the restrictions around food safety and animals. But the website paints a very different picture. Coffee was excellent.
Can't figure out how to respond to owners response so I'll do it here: Food & staff were "nice enough". Outdoor area shown on website is not a reflection of actual outdoor area. check your emails - we messaged about dogs but were still given an INSIDE reservation. 2 star review represents collective score based on our experience.

2nd response to owner: Wow, perhaps spend more time reading your bookings than having a cry over a bad review. Not asking you to suck up at all just giving an honest review. FYI - there are photos of dogs on the red couch inside your establishment when you search your cafe on Google. The outdoor area shown on your website is not the outdoor area available at your location. Probably would have given you another shot (without our dogs) but your unprofessional attitude here has...
Read moreUpdate for new premises: We have been visiting Two Dogs Laughing for a few years now. The Stack Street location had a real Freo vibe about it. Hidden away in the industrial area, it always had a very laid-back atmosphere. The food was fantastic every time. The furniture was old, with lots of character. The old lounge opposite the entrance was often the refuge of the resident dog Boncie. It always looked like it may have been under construction. Staff and customers were always friendly. There was probably nothing that I would have changed, it had everything that a great café required. Then news came through that they were moving to 199 South Street, Beaconsfield. We had our doubts that the new venue would have the same great vibes. Fast forward, we have now been to the new location a few times and although it does not have the same vibe, it has a great new vibe and somehow the food has gone to a new level. It has got a lot more popular now although we have managed to get a table every time, it has sometimes been the last table available. We again visited this Saturday at about 10:30am, it was still busy, with a table outside and a few inside available. One thing we have noticed is that no matter how busy it has been, the food still arrives promptly. The food was amazing. Coffee arrived promptly, not too long before the food. I had the Umami Scram and my wife had the Bombay Aloo.
Old Review: Went for a walk down to Two dogs with our whippet, Honey. Had a fantastic meal. Great atmosphere and...
Read moreThis dog friendly cafe has been on my list for months. Finally gave it a visit on my day off today. Upon arrival, I realised most of the pictures online were shared from their old location. Dogs are no longer allowed inside and must be kept outside along a very tight Al fresco area, about 1.5 meters wide, right next to the road with oncoming vehicles. Fortunately, my dogs were tiny and there are poles for you to tie your dog down. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back with my dog given the extremely tight alfresco space. I can't blame the owner for this due to food safety regulations but the old pictures online can be misleading.
Service however was questionable. I arrive 40 minutes before closing. The cafe was almost empty, the 2 tables outside have been served already. Ordered a long mav and sausage roll. Sausage roll was pretty steep at 10.90 but the chutney that came with it was good. However, the waiter had forgotten about my sausage roll while it was in the panini press until I reminded him 15 minutes later. Oddly, the panini press wasn't turned on and I had to wait another 10 minutes. Sadly, the panini press gave the sausage roll two thick and hard crusts which were impossible to cut with a knife or bitten off.
The majority of the reviews seem to praise the menu options. If I were to come back to try their food, I would definitely not...
