I won’t lie, I do come here often for a wine.

I have also had gastric sleeve surgery so can’t eat big meals.

There was one day when I had a meal and I returned more than 3/4 of the food and the owner (Vic) was there. He was concerned I didn’t like the meal and I told him that wasn’t the case. After explaining to him he let the staff l know that I was able to order from the seniors or kids menu for smaller meals which is amazing.

Yesterday was my 50th birthday and my husband had planned a surprise party for me

It was apparently two months in the making and the staff managed to keep it a secret from me

They had cordoned off a part of the bar for us and the food was amazing.

The staff at Suburban treat all the guests like friends.

Thanks for yesterday Kimmy (Hun-nay) and Jar. My family loved you to bits. Your personalized service and little bit of cheekiness made our day

All of my 20 guests were served huge platters of food for $370. We took a lot of it home. Drinks are standard WA prices

Atmosphere was pretty good but food was sub par. Missus ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese that was just okay, nothing special, and I ordered the parmy which was over cooked with burnt crumbing. For entree's (which came after mains) we ordered cheesy garlic bread which was over seasoned and so crusty it was pretty much solid, and the spicy wings... sauce was good, but they're deep fried and have an extremely crusty crumbing / skin on them that personally I believe doesn't fit wings too well. We were given a refund for our entrees which was nice of them to put forward.

Sprite from the bar was flat, all other drinks were okay. Probably won't be coming back as for us, it wasnt that flash. Its a shame as it's been a pretty busy place...

It was a last minute plan to take our dad out for his birthday yesterday and not on his actual birthday (he's working). Unlike me, my family are very picky eaters, and they don't like a bar/tavern atmosphere. Once they came in, they saw the prices and were shocked, because they're quite high compared to where they usually eat. But the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and when the food came to the table all their jaws dropped. 😂 They loved the food so much that they wanted me to bring them here again from time to time. They stacked the plates filled to the brim with absolutely delicious food.

I highly recommend this place, seriously go try it you won't...
