Simmon's Bakery — Restaurant in Biloela

It started great: we ordered had a curry pie, a spinach/feta pastry and a croissant. The pie and pastry were delicious. In fact, it was so tasty that we decided to buy another pie. We got the veggie roll: worst decision ever. The roll was so absolutely horrendous that we had to throw it away after one bite. We needed something to get the flavour out of our mouths and luckily wile still had the croissant. Unfortunately the croissant was by far not buttery enough and the quality at most below average. So it started great, but ended disappointing. Our recommendation for the owner is to review the recipes and to make sure their food is consistently great, instead of hit and miss. Until then: do yourself a favour and stay away from the croissant and the veggie roll, instead be satisfied with just...

I’m am BEYOND disappointed. I used to LOVE Simmons not once did I ever have a problem with the previous owners they were always so lovely. But today I’m so unhappy. Ordered a small iced coffee and it was FERAL had way too much coffee. Staff were UNBELIEVABLY rude when asked if they could change it so it’s not as strong and all they did was put more milk in it touched my straw and handed it straight back to me. No fresh iced coffee just extra milk and a used straw. That definitely has to go against the work place health and safety. The juniors and the owner stood around gossiping about it while I was waiting hoping they would make a new one. I asked politely but they were rude. Again, I ordered A SMALL iced coffee. First time I’ve EVER had a bad experience here...

My Dad always went on about the bakery from his youth, so I thought I'd check them out when passing through, and it was an absolute delight 😁

So many delicious new and traditional foods. From Meat pies to Sausage rolls (my new favourite is the Potato & Cheese roll) there are so many options to choose from. They also do salad rolls if you want a lighter option. The sweets all looked amazing, and it was a chore to only pick one!! Would've extended my stay just for another meal at Simmon's.

Fantastic bakery and I definitely recommend as one of the best bakery's I've ever...
