Chef Tony's Modern Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bomaderry

Horrific dining experience. Owner made us feel awkward, very small when I paid for our 80 dollar lunch.

Hot day outside, had to ask for water for the table and ask for refills. Owner NEVER came to our table asking if things were good or we needed anything else, we had to call him over.

Regarding Dietary needs, I eat low salt, I asked for low salt and no white onion, owner said not possible, all food then is pre cooked and just reheated or microwaved.

Owner had to be asked for chili sauce and soy sauce for the table.

My order came 15 minutes after all others

No waitstaff here, only owner chef at this lunch.

Meals uninteresting, not tasty and fried rice was not made to order.

Dining room left unattended and computer alarms rang annoyingly and constantly without being dealt with.

We had to knock on kitchen door to ask owner for bill.

I found the meals embarrassingfor my friends and the owner's rude uncaring behaviour unprofessional.

Shameful attitude, still I cannot believe how I was made to feel asking for basic amenities for our lunch meal and about the food preparation.

Owner then called me Mr Ask Ask when I paid the Bill.

My husband & I had dinner here for the first time as we were passing through this cute little town . Our meals were beautiful we had the $60 banquet for two. You have a choice of the menus . The bbq pork & duck spring rolls I can highly recommend they were delicious. Satay chicken & rainbow beef was the best we’ve ever tried , the medium fried rice again was so lovely . There were plenty of leftovers. It’s a busy little restaurant with dine in and take away , we could not fault this restaurant the food , the staff are polite & friendly at all times it’s lovely and if we are ever back in Bomaderry again we will call in for dinner definitely ...

Another great lunch. Satay chicken, delicious as always, crispy duck, delicious! and tried the ham and chicken rolls today, up with the best I’ve had. I would like to thank Tony for being responsible, he obviously has a Covid safe plan in place which made our lunch experience very enjoyable and made me feel safe. Register at the front door for all patrons to sign in, sanitiser on entry. Signs asking people not to touch the menus. Tony gave us our menus and then wiped them down with sanitiser before issuing to other customers. Tables have been removed and spacing meets all the guidelines. Good on you Tony I wish more people would do the right thing...
