.Many of the baked goods are impressively large—often double the usual size—with prices around $6–$7. I tried the éclair, which was massive and tasted great.The customer service was reasonable—staff seemed quite young, possibly in their first jobs. A warm greeting and saying a friendly “thank you” after ordering would go a long way in improving the overall atmosphere. The coffee took a little while but was worth the wait—smooth and well made. The space is very large with plenty of seating, though the layout gives off a bit of a hospital cafeteria vibe. It could feel much cosier with some lounge-style seating . My usual place to stop and grab something to eat when passing through, however since the change of hands I don’t think I will be returning. Display cabinet has no signage on any of the food so not sure of what it is/the price; ordered an apple turnover, tasted like it had been sitting there for a days, pasty was soft and seemed a bit undercooked (not raw just not that brown), minimal apple with no flavour, excessive cream that had a weird vanilla taste. Overall wasn’t worth the almost $7. Staff seemed nice, although once given the food she just walked off without saying anything, ordering station not quite convenient. Maybe better off where the coffee is made. Might return to give it another go but definitely not as good as...

Went to the Superb Bakery about 4 years ago and had the best custard tart and chocolate milkshake ever. Milkshake served properly in the tin. Went there today around 1.30pm and couldn’t get a sandwich because they had run out of bread, they had one custard tart left which I purchased and they then told me that it had been bought by someone else. It looked sub-standard anyway. Then to top it off the milkshake was served in a throwaway cup. Not happy and would definitely not recommend this bakery anymore.
