The Courthouse Hotel — Restaurant in Boorowa

Boorowa is cold in Jume. We had ridden motorbikes from south coast NSW and were ready to thaw out when we arrived. Undercover parking was supplied for our bikes and were then shown the room. The rooms are clean non smoking rooms the bed was comfortable. The electric heater in the room hardly worked. The fan in the heater did not work at all. I was afraid to leave it on. The lounge is very nice except that nothing worked there because the power to a room and the lounge did not work. No TV, the only way we could make a cuppa was to boil the jug in our room. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean and tidy, the shared bathrooms were clean and not too inconveniently located from our room, very small tv and the ac worked well to keep our room cool. No wifi. Staff were nice and helpful.

We could hear the music from downstairs one night but it finished at midnight so not too bad.

The worst thing was that the bed and pillows were TERRIBLE. Thin hard mattress and thin pillows made it almost impossible to sleep. It was so uncomfortable. We tried the single beds in our room and they were just as bad. We couldn't wait to get home to...
