Aggressive neck tattooed bogans; customer service of an ashtray. They appear to be stuck in a permanent bad day mood. Lost my custom for good.
**Additional review added as an edit due to the defaming response submitted by the proprietors, & yes, i am far from the first 'additional comment responder' to the propriter's unexpected, unsolicited, & responses full of untruths, as i have read your google reviews now (i am not alone), with all one star reviewers adding a response about unsolicited verbally aggressive attacks upon their custom:
Yes, as a West Australian on a road trip around Australia, eating pineapple out of a tin was my breakfast, which i calmly explained to you what i was doing, & why i was walking to the skip bin in the corner of the parking lot situated next to & far from your place of establishment, to dispose of my waste product; not a staff car park as you detailed as an outright lie in your response, as the large open space gravel block twice the size of your establishment, which was obviously also being used by several other morning customers parking there at the time, is quite very public, not yours (photo added).
Your highly aggressive nature, & your paranoia as to my presence parking in a public space not more than 15mt from your coffee shop, i tried to assuage by calmly informing you i was an educator with multiple cleared police checks in several continents including 3 states of Australia as an international teacher, were met with verbal abuse of high volume, when you skidded to a halt in front of me in your vehicle, as i was walking towards the skip bin. After my breakfast was complete, i was going to purchase a coffee, as fruit tastes better before a coffee, not after, information which you demanded from me yelling at me at high volume from within your vehicle, as my reason for being where i was as you drove up to me aggressively, stopping less than one metre from my walking self, head on, simply for doing as i was doing, walking towards a bin with rubbish i was attempting to dispose of. No introductions as being involved with the coffee shop, just high volume aggressiveness. Yes, i was a very dangerous suspect, nowhere near your coffee shop, just parked near it, as i wanted to purchase a coffee for my morning kick-off; this occurred at 7:15am, during morning café service time. Why else would i be parked in the vicinity, having arrived 5min earlier? I explained my circumstances and politely asked who you were. Met with what can only be described as a plethora of profanities, which made me realise that at 07:20, such unacceptable illogical aggression was most likely chemically induced.
I could easily tell by your pinging pupils, & your uninsulated aggression, & the fact you tried to run over my feet in your vehicle as you took off in a rage yelling profanities, that you were experiencing a come-down, or were on an illegal substance at the time, of which i have some experience in, having worked in some tough areas and some quite tough countries, with students and parents with a meth-amphetamine addiction. Your behaviour may not have been because of such, but it was quite akin.
And yes, every community that hires me, as an educator with global experiences, i can only say the students and faculty benefit greatly from my diverse international knowledge.
Additionally as a tradesman, i did take note of your deteriorating shopfront and can only assume as a business owner myself, you are not reinvesting funds into basic maintenance of your place of establishment, but possibly spending your profits on unnecessary habits for which you should seek medical help. Be well, you do not know you are experiencing a manic rage attack whilst in one, and your attempt to defame me through outright lies is quite weak of character. Reinforced to be true, by so many other additional editors, responding to your lies.
Oh yes, they way you treated me so very ungently, meant you lost my custom for good. Own the consequences to your actions, or, behave like a lying naughty student. Obviously you...
Read moreWon’t go over the details of our visit, other than to say, the coffee is nothing like it used to be. I’d prefer moccona. I will say, I took our dogs across the road to the park for dog business, then came back to the car park, thinking 20 minutes was enough time for 2 coffees to be made. I did stand in the shade with our dogs, waiting another 10 minutes before a woman (assuming owner) came out, waving arms, telling me to put the dogs in the car: evidently because someone’s dog had sometime previously left a mess and owner not cleaned up. Standing there, with cleanup bags in my hand, I said OK, and the dogs went back in the car. My wife left a review outlining this story and the owners reply was; “Your dogs left a mess and your husband didn’t clean up”. I just want to say- untrue. A complete fabrication. Anyway, we won’t be back.
Response to owners reply*
Owner accused me of lying etc- see the reply
On the far side of the park across the road, over the wet/soggy gully, is a power pole. At the base of the pole are 3 yellow Ergon out of service indicators, used when working on the power line above. Yes, go look- I was in the park, I saw them. You can also check in the bin, for the packages that were placed there. My error, I didn’t mention my wife was inside ordering during this time (2 weak coffees with extra shot and 2 curry filos=$36). Either you are making up fibs to counter poor reviews, or you alleged customer is feeding you these lies to wind you up so, and encourage bad reviews. They’re setting you up to fail? Maybe you upset them? Your business, your policy- that’s fine, we are happy to go elsewhere on Monday on our way back south. You run it the way that enriches your well-being. My only objection is being lied about. You mention in your retort to previous reviews about what you saw on cameras: maybe recheck your footage for the truth. Good...
Read moreHorrible experience on the 22nd of July 11:45am.
Upon placing an order for two breakfast wraps on the website, with the intention of saving time, I arrived at the café and proceeded to pay at the counter. The staff member kindly asked me to wait for my order, and I patiently did so. However, things took an unexpected turn when I received a phone call from another staff member who seemed unaware of my presence at the café. Although we laughed it off, it was clear that there was a lack of communication within the team.
The real disappointment came when I approached the counter to collect my order. The old lady behind the coffee machine, despite being busy, displayed a discourteous attitude. She bluntly asked, "Who are you and what do you want?" While I understand that cafes can get busy, I believe that it is never an excuse for such disrespectful behavior towards customers.
Having worked in the hospitality industry myself, I am well aware of how challenging it can be at times. However, prioritizing basic positive customer service is crucial, even during busy periods. This particular interaction left me feeling disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. It's disappointing to encounter such behavior, especially when I have been a loyal customer at this cafe.
I would like to clarify that while the younger staff members were great, my experience with one particular older lady was beyond disappointing. Her attitude was absolutely horrid. It is my sincere hope that she reads this review and realizes the urgent need for an attitude adjustment or perhaps considers finding a job that aligns better with her...
