Bracken Ridge Bakery — Restaurant in Brisbane City

First time i went to you guys after the change of ownership i got the cheese and bacon pie, i could smell something off in it. The cheese was old and stinky. It was inedible.

Second time was today. Because i was curious. I bought the same pie. The filling was very jelly like and I could taste the pastry, It was undercooked and fell apart.

I noticed a few of your products were slightly overcooked. Maybe check your ovens?

The chocolate crossiant was disappointing. Im not sure if it was old or not cooked correctly or made incorrectly. It was very dense and covered completely in icing sugar (why?)

My dude, Please stop over complicating your goods if you cant keep up with it. Simpler items that dont take as much effort will sell. You have such a complex looking desserts/sweets selection. (Why?)

Don't use a spatula to spread the icing on anything, it looks unprofessional. Use the other methods like dipping and piping.

Help your staff effectively communicate with customers by doing up a cheat sheet even just for your hot food, because they're still struggling.

Recently moved to the area and this is our new local. Everytime I have visited Morris and other staff have provided amazing service, making me feel very welcome and explaining what they have in the cabinets for the day. Have tried 6 of the pies and all have been perfect! With the curry beef being my favourite curry pie I have had in the Brisbane area to date. I couldn't fault this bakery, if I tried. From the moment you walk in you know it's going to be a good experience. The bakery is warm/cosy and you can feel the passion that has been put into creating all the baked goods. Then you're greeted with such amazing service from the owner who is more than happy to help you choose which tasty goods you will be enjoying.
