All 4beers we tried were really good... like to see the blonde on nitro. Will be back to taste the rest. Disappointed chicken burger wasn't dripping with a blue cheese dressing as it was advertised as cordon bleu and it had swish cheese not even melted? Mussels could have less butter and more white wine then they could make 3 different styles... plain, chilli, and Thai with coconut and lemon grass. Will definitely try the sausages as they were huge and looked fantastic... enough to share if you want. And the outdoor ambience was fantastic as the sound traveled away rather than just bounce around. A little background music would have been nice too. Good to have a new local family owned and run small batch brewery... for only 1.5 yrs old... well done!!! Till next time...
Next time update... Went back and had a burger (with lettuce) and a very big dog!!! That was the winning combo with a few golden ales. Looking forward to the next time... hoping for a Rye IPA.... Hint...

Next to the old corner store down from the train tracks the fit it is clean and modern, then you step to the gravelled courtyard between the bar. Plenty of seating at tables and higher bar tables. Friendly to baby's and dogs. The selection of house brewed beers is up to 3 and they are all quality, we webworked our way through all on tap, other than personal preference all of the house and guest beers were delicious. Standard pricing you'd come to expect from a suburban brewery like this. The one golden point for FICK is their full kitchen turning out perfect European still pub food (German Hotdogs, French Pizzas) all of which I reasonably priced...

Fick does all the microbrewery things so well, it's a great little place to spend time in. Nice indoor and outdoor options. It's not a huge place, but in some way that adds to the appeal.
It's also dog friendly and family friendly. Sometimes this makes it a bit chaotic, but I've never had a bad experience here regardless of how busy it gets at certain times.
Certainly one of the hidden gem brewery options...
