I highly recommend taking your custom elsewhere. This business seems to have forgotten that they work in the "hospitality" industry. Considering how difficult most hospitality businesses have done due to Covid-19, one would think that businesses would be eager to serve customers . . . not Gloria Jean's. I arrived with an 89yr old gentleman and my severely vision impared 85yr old auntie for afternoon tea just after 3pm nearly 1.5hrs before their advertised closing time to find all tables and chairs stacked away. In the days when I worked in the hospitality industry, we offered hospitality. We took customer orders until 15min before closing time and after all customers left the premises, we got down to the business of closing, deep cleaning and preparing for the next opening service period. Worst experience with staff today . Ordered two hot coffees they were like ice coffee. Asked staff about it they got upset and said to me this is “ our hot “ 😂 . What on the earth is our hot . Instead of accepting their mistake they were trying to humiliate me . Asked me to leave the shop i said no im not aggressive abusing i will take my coffee what i paid for . If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. Ordered a large Tim Tam Chiller. What I received tasted like water, had no caramel and barely any Tim Tam in it and watery. Had it remade expecting it to taste the way it’s suppose to be - Thick, chocolatey, Tim Tam chunks with caramel. The second one was worse than the first. Don’t bother spending $9 on these as you will be wasting your money and severely disappointed.
