Jacobs Bakery Carseldine — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I thought I would give this place a go today, not a fan at all. I got the red valvet cake the price on the tag was $32.90 I went to go pay pass to pay for it and the price the girl punched in was $34.90, I said that the tag says $32.90 she then said that her boss put up the price. You can’t have a price tag on something and then just up the price when it’s being purchased. I payed $32.90 and it was the biggest waste of money, the cake was horrible, it was hard and flavourless but left a chemical flavour in your mouth. Everyone who tried it were not impressed at all. STAY CLEAR!!! Walked in mid day on a Friday. The store was empty of customers and almost all stock. This should have been my first red flag. There was one loaf of bread left. Pie cabinet was near empty and hardly any options in the sweets cabinet.

Ordered a platter of sandwiches for a baby shower and when my husband picked it up, it was all individual sandwiches only cut in half and bagged in lunch bags. Half were all scrunched up. We had to get them cut up and plattered ourselves in a rush. Very little filling apart from tonnes of dark, bitter lettuce and they actually used the end of loaf crust on a couple of the sandwiches.
