First time dining here — and definitely the last.
I had a very disappointing experience. One of the staff refused to provide tap water to my visibly thirsty 3 and 5-year-old children, claiming that “tap water isn’t drinkable in Australia.” I work in the Australian water industry and know for a fact that this is completely untrue. I understand he may have wanted me to purchase bottled water from the fridge, but my kids were unwell and couldn’t drink cold water.
I explained to him several times that Australian tap water is safe to drink and repeatedly asked for it, but he still refused. It wasn’t until a kind female staff member stepped in that my child was finally given water.
Only after realising how awkward the situation had become did the first staff member say he couldn’t provide tap water but could offer a bottle of water for free — not as a gesture of goodwill, but clearly just to save face. I declined.

We ordered the Family Meal 2 and individual mixed skewers, sambousik and kebbeh! 🖤🖤🖤
Where do i start? The chicken had a delicious and flavoursome marinade on the skin, with a tasty toum, authentic tabouli and crispy chips with rich chicken salt! 💛💛💛
The kebbeh and sambousik were as delicious as homemade, the pastry was traditional and tasty all at the same time! 💙💙💙
The mixed skewers were seasoned well, flavoursome and cooked perfectly! 💜💜💜
Side note: I tasted the shish tawouk roll but didn’t picture and omg, that was so scrumptious! Just a little tip, change the coleslaw to tabouli in the roll and thank me later 🥰🥰🥰

Read moreThe food here is very good. I've reduced my rating though as the restaurant are doing dodgy things via uber eats. They were unable to fulfil the order and called to tell me, no worries there told them to cancel the order, it happens, no biggie. Half hour later they call back and say they can't cancel the order and I'll need to do it, naively I agree, cancel the order, and am charged the full cost of the order as a penalty to the restaurant! I had to argue with uber support for a refund and when I investigated apparently this is a common scam tactic to preserve a restaurants rating and completion rates on the platform as it looks bad for them to cancel, and at worst to straight up steal from people who wouldn't have read the cancellation details.
