I have no idea who these people are that gave more than 1 star! This was the worst experience and worst food (not just Indian food) I have ever had.
Firstly the lady did not even greet us properly and looked like she hated the world. We ordered the lamb rogan josh, beef korma and chicken saag, with saffron rice and garlic/cheese naan.
When the food arrived it was a bland white milky color and had absolutely no taste. She could see the disappointment on our faces and asked what we dont like about it. When I pointed out that it had no curry taste and that it was white and so runny, it was literally coconut milk/cream mixed with thickened cream - she started to almost argue with me and said that everyone makes it differently. Fair enough...
She kept coming back every 2mins to 'check' on us but honestly we felt like she was trying to provoke us. What do you want us to do? We already told her we werent happy with our meals, so if you are not going to listen and actually show some concern, there is no nood to be rude or intimidating to your customers; who are still (after all that) continuing to be polite and at least eat some of it and not be rude to just walk out and not want to pay. Which I am sure most people would and should do!
After about the 4th time she came to talk to us she then went on to try and convince me that the rogan josh was beef and the korma was lamb! I said maybe it is if you accidently mixed up our order. She was laughing sarcastically and said 'tomorrow ill have to call my butcher'. So I said she can try it if she likes to see which is which - she just walked off. I know the difference between the meats come on lady!
As I said, it just seemed like she was provoking us and wanted us out of there because she kept taking our plates and was cleaning up, even though my cousin was dtill eating
To be honest, if she wasnt so rude I probably wouldnt have even mentioned that we didnt like the food, nor would I have ever written this review!
The only thing that was actually amazing was the naan bread! It was delicious and nice and fluffy.
I wouldnt bother trying this! Bad service and even worse food. Id make a better curry myself at home. The best Indian Ive had in this area is Bulla at Bracken Ridge! The food is amazing even though the place itself looks...
Read moreDonât waste your money..there was heaps of leftovers and no one fought over it for their lunch for tomorrow because it just went straight in the bin. I canât even give this food a star (but I had to give one in order to give this review) and I cannot believe that people actually gave it 4 stars and enjoyed the food... the korma tasted like it was made with a home brand bottle of cheese pasta sauce. The butter chicken was so pale it looked like white sauce with a dash of tomato sauce and the naan tasted like store bought as it had all the flavours slapped on top of the bread not cooked into it like you would get in most other places. None of it tasted like curry , it was watery and pale and aweful. So disappointed. I wish I had just gone to woolies and bought some chicken and a bottle of curry sauce as it would have been 10...
Read moreIt seems like they don't want customers. If customers like me go there, they feel stressed. No greet, no smile. I have ordered $14.95 deal takeaway because they don't have any dine in specials. When I open the takeaway bag, there was no spoon, no tissue paper, no cutlery (how can foolish owner say it takeaway bag if they can't afford spoon and tissue?). The deal include a can of drink or water, which was not added in bag. I. Wait 25 minutes on quite day for my takeaway food, finally after 25minutes stressed face look owner came out andfrom kitchen and gave my food bag with no farewell, with no spoon and no tissue paper, with no can of drink. Taste of curry average. Roti size and the quality is average. Don't recommend at all. Your evening or your day will become from good to worst by going into...
