Went into the shop and the lady was packing a shelf. She said hello but then ignored us and continued to pack the shelf and going to the fridge and back again, all the while ignoring us. Eventually she decided that the shelf was packed enough and she went behind the counter, but still not where she could serve us. We decided to leave and as we walked out she said Thank you. I'm not sure if she was being rude or is just dumb. So here's a tip: if you want to sell food, prioritise the customer, pack the shelf later. We were there to have breakfast coffee and cake, and to get treats for our Filo family. You missed out and we ate at Rays bakery next door.
Update: thanks for the response below. Yes after 50 secs of you not attending to us, of you being RUDE, we left because there was still no service. How long would we have to wait before you decided to ask us what we wanted??? Fact check that video again and see that even the baker walked in carrying a pot, and greeted us, we acknowledged him - FACT CHECK that - but then he quickly escaped out the back when he saw you had your back to us. Maybe you could ask him if he was feeling embarassed about your behaviour? If you think that having your back to a customer, or any person, for 50 seconds is not rude, then you are NOT professional. If you think that being rude to customers is 'sharing the love', then you are delusional. If Ray's bakery are your friends, ask them for some tips on customer service. They attended to us instantly, they prioritised us immediately. They understand customer service - you don't. Maybe take some time to reflect on your behaviour...
Read moreYesterday, I picked up my order (a mix of puto/kutsinta tray) that I had reserved in the morning through Facebook Messenger.
I arrived at approximately 3:45 PM. The cashier was very welcoming, but I didn’t catch her name or notice if she was wearing a name badge, as I was in a hurry. I told her who I was and that I was there to pick up my order. She looked around and seemed confused. She came back and said there was no reservation under my name. She then asked what I had ordered. I described it and even showed her a photo. She continued searching but couldn’t find it. Eventually, she located it, apologised and I thanked her and went to my car.
As I was about to leave, she called out to me. Initially, I couldn’t hear her, so I got out of my car and asked what she needed. She said, “Your payment didn’t go through.” I was puzzled since I had paid that morning via PayID and sent the screenshot to the person I was communicating with.
I showed her the payment screenshot. She apologised again, explaining she wasn't the person I spoke with that morning and was unaware of the order/payment.
I gave her some feedback, suggesting they improve internal communication to avoid confusion and delays for customers...
