Brilliant! I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I feel like we've struck gold finding this place.
Very refreshing to find a place where the staff actually takes pride in their service. Bravo to all the staff and management! The staff is well prepared, well trained and very hospitable. This place is well managed and functions like a well-oiled machine. You can feel the synergy between the staff, which adds to the warm atmosphere of the place. It also seemed very clean.
We came here tonight for the first time to try the Wednesday night steak special. We didn't book ahead and when we arrived the place was packed. The head waitress who received us was very friendly and welcoming. She didn't treat us like we were a problem (like most places these days so if you don't book ahead) and immediately offered to make a table up for us with a big smile and warm demeanor.
The table was made up in less than 5 minutes and one of the other waitresses showed us to the table. The waitress paid attention to us and returned as soon as we looked ready to order.
After she took our order, our drinks were served to us within 2 minutes. 5 minutes later our stater came out, with warm side plates and more cutlery and serviettes (most pubs you have to ask for this or get it yourself). As soon as we were finished with the starter, the waitress cleared the table and our mains were served immediately after.
I ordered a medium rare steak (which was cooked perfectly) and my partner ordered the pan-seared salmon. Both dishes were delicious! The mushroom sauce was divine.
I will add that we sat near the exit and kitchen and I observed the head waitress greet every single person and thank them for coming when they left as well, in between cleaning the tables and making sure the food was served on time and orders were correct. All the staff kept on top of making sure tables were cleared and cleaned immediately, and they were attentive to the patrons and checked if everything was good with us.
Not to mention that all of the food here is very well priced!

My stake a 200g eye filet just melted in my mouth no fat at all, my husband's stake was the 350g he also loved his meal. We always get a sauce on the side and sit in on the hot rock so our sauce is hot at all time's plus put your chips on it also. We recommend the hot rock for your stake. Staff . We were passing through Brisbane on a family trip from Wagga Wagga and decided to stop in at the Rocklea Hotel for dinner. What a surprise — the food was great, the atmosphere relaxed, but what really made the night memorable was a young staff member named Oscar Ingham-Myers.
Oscar was an absolute standout. Polite, well-spoken, and genuinely helpful, he went out of his way to make sure our table was comfortable and the kids were looked after. You don’t often see that kind of maturity and kindness in someone so young. He even helped my mum carry her bag to the car without being asked — just quietly thoughtful.
