The Emperor's Court — Restaurant in Brisbane City

I ordered Uber eats takeout for my partner and I. The food is totally and absolutely disgusting and lacks any type of flavor. We ordered the cashew chicken, sweet and sour pork, honey chicken, and crunchy wontons. The cashew chicken was literally just chicken and vegetables with NO seasoning and NO sauce. The chicken tastes like poor quality as well. The sweet and sour pork had very few vegetables, the pork breading is soft and fluffy and the sauce is super disgusting and not flavorful AT ALL. The honey chicken also is poor chicken quality, NO seasoning, and the breading is SOFT and not crispy at all. The honey chicken sauce is watered down and nasty. The wontons are literally just unseasoned chicken wrapped in deep fried wonton. Wontons should have seasoning and sauce or cream cheese. As someone who is used to good Chinese food from the US, the people cooking this and making these recipes should be ashamed. This is not characteristic of Chinese food at all. There is no flavor, and no sauces. This food is SO expensive for the lack of quality and flavor. We spent over $80 for a failed dinner. We will NEVER be eating from here again. My family and I were looking forward to Chinese takeaway. The takeaway meal was hot, wrapped up nicely to prevent spilling in the car, containers full to the brim. Unfortunately we were disappointed, the satay beef had a lovely tasting sauce though very watery, lots of beef but the beef had no flavour and very thinly sliced. The sweet and sour pork sauce lacked flavour and pork was chewy and tasteless. The special fried rice was nice and had plenty of flavour. Front of house service was good, polite and friendly. We ordered take away so Atmosphere is not relevant. We ordered two Noddle dishes and were overwhelmingly happy with the amazing food we received. Large containers, full, and the meal in each was amazing. One dish was meat based and the 2nd was seafood. Each meal had plenty of protein in each. The taste of each meal was out of this world great. An amazing Malaysian inspired takeaway experience. The staff were lovely and engaging. The price per-meal was A+ and quality overtook what we paid for.
