I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming cafe with my partner for breakfast, and it was an absolute delight. The coffees were of exceptional quality, with both the hot and iced varieties served at perfect temperatures. We were impressed by the swift service, ensuring our morning started on a positive note.
For our main dishes, my partner opted for the salmon Eggs Benedict, which was not only generously portioned but also a delectable combination of flavors. The eggs were cooked to perfection, making it a delightful choice. I, on the other hand, enjoyed a scrumptious banana bread. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a bit more warmth, displaying a level of attentiveness that truly enhanced our experience.
What truly stood out was the unique and stunning tableware, adding a touch of sophistication to our meal. The atmosphere was so full of character, and we were captivated by the charming dog artwork. With ample seating available, we felt a sense of comfort and relaxation throughout our visit.
Having always noticed this cafe but never ventured in, we are delighted to say that we will definitely be back for more. Thank you for providing us with a memorable and enjoyable...
Read moreThe first time I came here I remember getting a bit of food envy after spotting a premium unagi dish that I wanted for a subsequent visit. It’s taken me almost 3 years but I finally got around to trying this dish when I returned last month - yes it’s still on the menu and the price is still the same, though I remember it seemed larger / large enough to feed 2. In any case we weren’t after a super heavy lunch so did share it, plus some sides, among 2.5 people.
Our order: whole Japanese unagi with fried rice, $28.90 - stir-fried egg rice topped with 300g unagi in teriyaki sauce bowl of steak fries (full serve), $6.90 - served with chicken salt fried vegetarian tempura pancake, $4.90
The unagi definitely satisfied those eel cravings. The fried rice wasn’t a particular standout, but combined with the salad on the side this made for a fairly balanced and overall enjoyable dish. The chips were done quite well too and I’m glad we got a full rather than a half serve. The pancake was ok - nothing too fancy, but again adding to the vegetable intake albeit also the bad fats...
Read moreMy friend recommended to visit this dog friendly cafe after we did op shop rummage. I was a bit reluctant as it's located in the middle of a busy shopping centre. It doesn't have a nice view - looking down a car park - but friendly service and tasty food of which serving size is very generous compensates that. It was super busy but a nice patron let us take his table. I ordered fried vegetable sandwich based on my friend's recommendation. You can choose bread from white, Turkish and burger bun. The serving is very generous so i have taken half of it home. Coffee was served promptly and easy to drink. The indoor wall is covered by many cute dog photos and you can order dog treat too. As it's busy, hope they can squeeze a couple more small tables on the terrace. I'd be happy to revisit for nice HK style food and meet cute,...
