Bake — Restaurant in Burnie

The service was not great, in fact the person serving us did not smile, say hello or even give off a welcoming vibe. When we were ordering, we had to make a phone call for one second to a person we were buying lunch for and the person serving us said in the rudest way she could, I don't have time for this and scoffed at us. Now we continued to buy things and we spent over $50 and we were being very nice and yet when we were done she put our stuff in a bag and said here. I duck in here often to grab a sausage roll or cheese and bacon roll. They’re OK. Nothing special. I felt compelled to comment on the service, as I’m rarely greeted with a smile. I really was hoping that over time they’d prove me wrong, but I really dislike the service here and have continually been greeted as if I am a hassle that they can’t wait to get out...

Really great bakery. Friendly staff and fabulous food. The location is in Upper Burnie so it’s not the best of places for an everyday brunch, more like a coffee stop on the way to work...
