Thai Dang Derm — Restaurant in Burnie

Went for dinner on recommendations of work colleagues. Not what I was expecting in that it is very basic seating, not restaurant looking at all, more like a diner but the food definitely made up for any lack in the decor. Only one person at front of house and it was busy as with people dining in and others coming to pick up takeaway, but he handled it all brilliantly. The food was simply scrumptious!! We ordered quite a few dishes between 4 of us to try different meals. The servings were very generous and served in a timely manner. Heaps left over and they were fine with us taking home the leftovers - had them the next night and they tasted even better. Prices are VERY reasonable. It is VERY popular and I can understand why. Hardly can you find a thai restaurant that offers such authentic Asian food as great as Thai Dang Derm, and you could never expect a restaurant owner to return your cap leaving behind back to NSW with free postage because of the guest's carelessness.

The cap is professional for sportsman by the way and can guide the sweat designed for marathon runners, and yeah, I am the guest. Sorry for the procrastination as things happened more than two years ago, and luckily I do not forget to leave a message (as it's really impressive).

Ordered takeaway after hearing good reviews about Thai Dang Derm. The food was amazing, normally for Pad Thai if you get it takeaway from most places it ends up a stuck together sweaty mess of noodles but I was surprised how amazing the Pad Thai was here! Super fresh and authentic tasting and honestly the best pad Thai I have eaten. Chicken Spring Rolls are great and have a good taste to them. Stir Fried Garlic chicken is good and Coconut rice is cooked perfectly.
