Fully loaded is a nice change for around Burnie, but I think the novelty and the extravagance of their food takes away from the overall flavour. I got the California burrito which was massive! And they clearly use lots of great quality produce, but the flavour was lacking. The crumb on the chicken doesn’t have a lot of flavour, just tasted like flour to me, it was stuffed with too many soggy chips, the guacamole just tasted like avocado no seasoning. When I think of a burrito I think of Mexican flavours and this lacked that. I would recommend changing up the seasoning, adding some tang, and having an option to add sour cream and salsa to the burrito! I also had the medium loaded fries which were great and exactly what you’d expect no worries there. All in all I think there’s a lot of potentional, and I’m sure their other items are great, this is just my experience with the burritos. Considering there’s no burrito places around Burnie it would be great if they tried to up it a bit and make it...
Read moreBy far the best chicken i have ever tasted. Been here a few times for burgers or loaded fries & i think its cos the chicken is cooked in buttermilk that makes it so delicious & want you to come back for more everytime. I have tried loaded fries at many other locations on the northwest coast & most were very disappointing & a huge let down. The only thing that even comes close to fully loaded would be Burger junkie in the heart of Launceston & if your ever down that way parking is a challenge, but it's a must do experience. The atmosphere inside & there bar & tables just feels so inviting & we even had a short glass with whisky & a can of coke to add to it as we wished. If fully load also served alcohol like beer cider & whisky over a wooden bar with bar stools then I think it would attract even more customers. But fully loaded in upper Burnie is deffinately the best down this end...
Read more. First time ordering the food here, photos of the food looked incredible. I ordered the Carolina chicken burger and it was actually spicy which is rare around here. Tasted good. But that’s where it went downhill. Ordered a large chips. They tasted old. No crunch and the inside was dry. Ended up throwing them out. The onion rings we bought were crispy but at the same time soggy, very skimpy with the salt. My partner ordered the loaded Mac. The middle of the beef was still pink. (In a steak that’s fine but not with mince).. she said it was bland and gross. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone sadly. Was really hoping for a good burger...
