This cafe was such a great find! The coffee was excellent, and the food was utterly delicious. You can feel the love in every bite. We shared a breakfast plate special, with hummus, avo, house made pickles, yummy relish, 1½ perfectly boiled eggs, toasted paleo bread, & salad. And I took one of the freshly baked sesame cookies for later - & wished I'd bought a few more! The outdoor seating area looks so lovely. It was raining when we were there, so we sat inside at 1 of 2 tables (we were lucky, as it got fairly busy). The owner was friendly & warm, & so was his barista/assistant. And the food was made fresh, & served promptly. Can't wait to go back šŸ˜‹

The Otherside Coffee shop it a beautiful place to spend your mornings in Byron Bay. I’ll highly recommend to come and explore the amazing options they have for food, coffee and smoothies. Additionally, this place host very cool events and the creative vibes are around. Come over and experience one of the best coffee shops around Byron. The staff is lovely, as well as his owner. Can’t wait to come back, Come over to experience more about Art, gastronomy and local vibes.. Thank you Otherside you are amazing āœŒļøā¤ļø

Thoroughly enjoyed my brunch today at the Otherside cafĆ©, with its friendly, welcoming staff and a pleasant, relaxed, dog-friendly outside seating area. I chose the gym plate - scrambled eggs, avo and bacon, to which I added the sourdough toast. Simply delicious, and a generous serving. My flat white was artistically presented, with a great coffee taste to match. I’ll return.

Charging $1.00 extra for 2 people to sit outside? This is Byron Bay not Venice. I can understand in Europe why they do this as you have hundreds of people waiting for a table so there’s a premium. But the morning we went for coffee, there half a dozen free tables outside to sit on, so not really in high demand. The fact this is not communicated up front as well is poor, we had to find out when paying. Just be open and honest about it to begin with.

Edit: to the business owner, I am unable to reply to your response so have to respond via an edit. This happened this morning 14/10. I asked the server isn’t it $8.60 for 2 x small coffees and was told it’s an extra $1.00 for dining in. Also, 5/6 of the milk jugs had leftover milk in them that had been sitting there, yet the jug sprayer is right there. When I was a barista, jugs were cleaned immediately after making coffee for...

A solid 4 stars. 4.9 stars should be reserved for only the most elite food experiences- which this is not. This cafe was good, but the coffee was nothing special (just basic coffee and milk, no cafe art, no decor- very basic). The food we had was of decent quality (smashed avo and sweet potato wrap). The menu was minimal and many of the ingredients had run out, so left us with minimal options. Had to go to the other side of Byron to get there (hence the name). Staff were short and disinterested. When we saw the ratings on this place we were really pumped for a next level Brekky- but it didn’t meet our...
