Absolutely brilliant service and the staff were friendly, courteous and very informative.

Arrived approx 1.5hrs before the bistro opened so we (3 of us) had a quiet drink in the public bar, which is a good old fashioned country pub.

The bistro is more updated and the ambience is excellent with clean surroundings and spacious room.

The menu likewise is also excellent with ample selections from pastas, pizzas, fish & grills and not forgetting vegetarian dishes.

Service as previously advised was excellent and our meals served within 15mins or so even though there was a good/large crowd in the room

Special mention of Michael who we believe went over and beyond the call of duty (so to speak)...and it was only when we were leaving that we found out that he was the restaurant manager. His manner of management and leadership was exceptional and his staff seemed to follow his guidance.

Definitely recommend the Cobram Hotel,made our day ps we are actually staying in Numurkah and never visited Cobram...

I have never been to this hotel before so I didn't know what to expect. However I was delighted with the whole day experience, I forgot to take a photo of my main meal which was the salmon and it was cooked superbly. Each meal was thoroughly enjoyed by each member of the family. Even the children's menu was a win. One person didn't attend due to illness and the Hotel gave a full refund for that person which I was so delighted about. The hotel provides a game room for children for a little entertainment and we were close enough to keep our on the little ones!. Great selection of drinks at the bar staff was super friendly and very inviting. My family wants to return for next years Christmas day. I'm sure we will be returning throughout the year as well.

Usually I’ve gone in there in the last 5 yrs and had chicken schnitzel chips and veg and gravy something simple and it was absolutely beautiful the the last two times chicken was a lot smaller and way over cooked so giving them the benefit of doubt I tried there silver side and don’t bother it was hard tough and dry and that dry the meat was curled up I actually thought it was the day before re- heated. I never complained I left it on the table but have never eaten there again. Also pretty disgusted when there open on an RDO they put there drink prices up nearly 10 dollars a schooner 9 something I remember usually I would have 3 or 4 I had that one and left so all 5 of us ended up at mulwala so they missed out on 5 meals and a...
